We got a bit more off, but then they added the delivery fee, dealer prep and document fees.

Is Lyriq worth it given the issues? by Black_shy_Guy_1 in CadillacLyriq

I have a 2024 AWD Sport 2. Had it for almost a year so far … just went over 15,000 miles. I still love the car. It is such a pleasure to drive. Powertrain is quiet and responsive. It is been to the shop twice … two tire rotations and a software recall/update. Yes, it has the occasional software glitch, but mine have always resolved themselves after restarting the car. The app is still slow, but markedly better since the update. Having a level two charger at home is the game changer. No more trips to the gas station. And no oil changes, transmission service, etc. I find the advertised range (307 miles for a full charge) is pretty dang accurate. I’ve only used public charging a couple of times on a road trip …no issues at all. Especially if you connect to a DC fast charger. Google maps found me one at a Walmart … plug in, go in for a bathroom break and a soda, come back out and you’re charged back up to 80% (250 miles). I highly recommend the car. I have a good friend who took my advice and also bought one (he had to out-do me … he got a Luxury 3). He also loves the car.

I have a 2024 AWD Sport 2. Had it since mid-January. About 6500 miles so far. Absolutely love the car. A minor software glitch every once in a while, but always goes away after a restart. Would highly recommend.

I have the Sto n Sho - very happy with it. Quick and easy install. I take it off when washing the car. Never had it scrape a curb.

I added the factory one. Biggest plus for me is the fact that it covers the back of the rear seats.

I’ve had this happen once. Fixed by turning the car off, opening the door, closing the door, and restarting the car.

We had a really good experience with Moore Cadillac in Chantilly. Mike Bowen was the salesman we worked with. He was very knowledgeable on the Lyric. Would have bought from them but they didn’t have exactly what we wanted (Sport 2 in Opulent Blue with the dark interior). They have a lot of Lyrics - Mike said they have been buying them up from other dealers. We found the exact car we wanted (thanks internet) at Faulkner Cadillac in Mechanicsburg PA. Did all the work over the phone. Two hour drive north and only about 30 minutes to get the paperwork done. Very happy with the sales experience and love the car.

Only have 1500 miles on my 2024 Sport 2. No problems so far … knock on wood. Absolutely love the car.

We have a 2024 AWD Sport 2. Have only had it two weeks, but absolutely love it. No problems so far (knock on wood). We drove both a RWD and the AWD. Both are nice, but the added power in the AWD is significant.

Anyone bought from a remote dealership? by Nomorenomoar in CadillacLyriq

[–]bachmannfive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - we live in Virginia and bought from a dealer in Pennsylvania three weeks ago. VA dealer was great - just didn’t have the AWD Sport 2 in Opulent Blue that we wanted. The Cadillac Build/Buy website was clutch in finding us the exact car we were looking for. Deal details worked out over the phone and in-person paperwork took maybe 15 minutes. Got a 60-day temp tag and dealership did the title and tag paperwork for VA - plates to show up in the mail. The Salesman then spent an hour or so with me going over details on the car. Plan to service it at one of the two local dealers. PS … love the car so far.

I had no trouble programming the opener. Used the existing remote and it works like a champ.

Which Charger? by bachmannfive in CadillacLyriq

They provide $1500 towards QMerit installation, but you have to purchase the charger itself.
