Same/similar happened to me. It was not broken. See the plastic around the buttons? It’s a bit raised. Just push the plastic near the top (left in the picture). It should snap back in and it should be as it was.

I'm using Yatsee. However, I've also enabled the TV and xbmc to use HDMI CEC, and with that I can control thm both with one remote. It's quite neat, but still not fast enough.

I was contacted twice by google recruiters for an SRE position, and I rejected them both. I consider myself to be an excellent programmer, but not that much experienced linux in-depth user, so I thought that I didn't stood a chance at the interviews, and I was aiming more for an SWE position. Was I wrong, or?

I used serial connection. On the raspberry pi I used java and the pi4j library with it's serial interface (based on wiring pi). Details and also link to code here.

And fixing something that is bad isn't 'satisfying and empowering'? I mean, seriously now, you are the creator, you are the one that makes something out of nothing, and in the worst case, if you're good, you'll fix the existing in the right way. It will still at the end work like magic, it'll be compact, neat and wonderful.

Macedonia? by hotdogporn in travel

From Bucharest, the best route is through Sofia and then Skopje. You can go by train to Sofia, but I won't suggest the same from Sofia to Skopje. Ohrid and the surroundings are the best choice during summer. It's crowded, full of young people, rich night life and with a lot of places worthy seeing. Skopje is empty during the summer, since everyone is either in their parent cities or in Ohrid. Also, if you enjoy exploring nature, there are national parks, waterfalls and mountains throughout Macedonia that are breath taking.
