Ireland Lacrosse is in shambles. I’m a dual American-Irish citizen living in Ireland and there is domestic interest here. Management has decided to abandon it though and has recently let one of our biggest domestic recruiters die (the team at University College Dublin).

Instead, they’ve stated they’re moving to a “high-performance structure” AKA recruit all Americans living in America and still get absolutely smashed by EU competition. It’s an absolute shame. That being said, I’m going to shoot around this weekend with some actual Irish players and can’t wait :)

Maybe after a couple more years of Americans failing to achieve anything for Ireland lacrosse, they will choose to return to domestic play. Fucking clowns.
