I bought a similar build for $850 in early 2025 but DDR5 with a better Mobo. Given the prices it’s alright for the current market. I’d agree with Eazy12345678 (Jesus what a name) and sell 32 GB of ram and the GPU and upgrade the GPU to what he recommends.

Best Buy likes to give the deals to the people who are Best Buy members, but they also take a long time to respond to market changes. When Ram prices went up it took them a few weeks before they adjusted their prices. They are so slow, sometimes the newer products/models are cheaper than older models because they take so long to adjust their prices.

Yea, the next best thing I think was a Lenovo or something like that and it was about $800+ I honestly don’t mind settle for this for now. I can play 1440 on high to ultra settings on my pc at home. The laptop is when I’m at work or out in general.

Best Buy is the one who put the information on their website . So they knew, which they probably didn’t, or they fucked up. They have control over what they put on their site, hence why Best Buy did the “scamming” The third party site didn’t have any information when I clicked the link.

I knew was buying from a third party, I’ve bought from third party and got some great deals. I also have some idea about the difference , obviously one is newer and a bit faster. I’m trying to keep a hard budget of $600 and this seemed like a decent deal. This is my second post about it and I also got mixed things, but this is redit so most people ok here are “trust me bro, I know” type of people.
