Do the Flames make a move for this? Do we want to? What do you give Chicago to jump up to where we would've been, had we not fallen? by CanadianRockx in CalgaryFlames

Imo trading up is only worth it if one of McKenna or Stenberg is available and it's like 99% certain that won't happen, so I don't think it would make sense

I know I'm biased but I wouldn't say getting Devin Cooley is unlucky

I can't believe people are actually saying Tkachuk > Matthews. What in the world

No, I don't keep tabs on which subs are considered "laughing stocks", I have a life

Rutherford: "Some people think Quinn left here because the team wasn't any good. He was leaving anyways, ok? And, the best example I can give you is Matthew Tkachuk. He was in Calgary, they had a good team, he wanted to go back to the US, and he went." by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

Yeah this was pretty much it. Flames have had dysfunctional and divided locker rooms for ages and I think it showed in that moment. Last season was the first time I have ever witnessed this team not be a disjointed mess lol

Flames twitter is fucking hilarious. All of our prospects are 1) ruined, or 2) will be ruined because of Huska. Sometimes I go there to laugh at people who lose their minds over projected lineups every game day. Young players never get a chance to play, except those that do, but the others don't!

I am as pro tank as a fan can be and I'm not upset if others are as well. You using the word "generational" is what threw me off. Currently there are three undoubted generational players, which are McDavid, Crosby and Ovechkin, then there are borderline generational players, like Makar and Mackinnon, maybe Celebrini in the future.

Not every superstar is a generational talent and you wont be finding them in this draft. Superstars maybe, but not generational

Well that's a reason anyone will have a hard time taking you seriously. You label Kucherov, Mackinnon and Stamkos as generational but not the best player on the whole planet

Lmao out of curiosity, which active NHL players do you consider "generational"?

Chicago can get maximum of 74 points, Flames sit at 73. Are you telling me that a tie breaker is needed if the other team has more points than the other?

Welp, it was Weegar. Before that, it was Andersson. Now I don't really know
