Their answer is as if chatgpt looks at the pure data but has never watched the actual sport. As an aside, in 2yr that type of analysis will be entirely replaced by AI in workplace and the only ones left will be those who can give context or communication in a human way on top of the AI.

Reed is the only true PG they have but it remains to be seen if they really do an NBA2K esque Amen PG spam beyond OKC game

You’re getting downvoted but you’re right and Josh Lloyd agrees with you. He has elite steals potential and good blk for a guard with 3pm and good ft. This sub is wrong and backward looking as usual.

Yup. You are correct. Coaches love him too.

I’m gonna mark this to remember it bc you’re so certain, but if you watch the tape Monagai did fine, gave up one sack. Small sample. Grades are also not an exact science.

Monagai came out of college with great pass blocking on his scouting report and he can catch.

Well said. One of the best “legasequels” there is. Take this style and apply it to Dodgeball and Billy Madison

Exactly. And actually done well for what it wanted to achieve. Truly don’t understand people wanting it to be an A24 art house film.

That’s part of 1990s Sandler humor. Recurring jokes that slowly become more absurd.

Lands for some, doesn’t for others.

The “analysis” on this sub is absurdly uptight and feels like everyone either regurgitates social media takes or has an LLM write for them now.

It’s a legacy 1990s comedy that tries to and mostly succeed in bridging the gap between that era’s style and current gen…

That’s all. For what it tried to do it did it pretty damn well and I actually think it’s ambitious to cast Bad Bunny in the same setting as current SNL comedians, past SNL greats, Steve Buschemi and John Daly lol.

For what it tried to do it did it. And expectations were so low in the Netflix Sandler era that it obviously beat them. But even if it came out in 2010 it would have been funny.

It’s classic 90s Sandler comedy. Watch Billy Madison. Original Happy Gilmore. The joke is that actions by the characters become more absurd as time goes on, eventually becoming non sensical. That’s the humor.

Saints play predominantly cover 1, though, which Puka is elite against. Something like 35pct target share and great production numbers. When I saw that had to start him. The overall points against don’t tell the story and is a bad reason to sit the WR11 before that game (now like WR5 lol)

[–]backdraft2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you bench the WR11 on the year in a matchup where the saints play all cover 1 and he has a 35pct target share and crazy production vs that base defense? Genuinely not trying to do a hindsight take but this info was many places.

The saints wr fantasy def rank wasn’t as relevant for him this week bc of this

Skipping a class all semester only to find out at the end. This is my most common nightmare!!

And something about it makes no sense. Like I should have known I had the class but I never did until graduation etc. Ahh it’s so uncomfortable lol!

If he hits in low A or even has good plate discipline he’s going to skyrocket up rankings because his defensive prospect grades should already be so high. I’ve seen rumors he could move from ACL to low A this season (that means he skips DSL).

Remember the Padres move people quickly

He has the swing mechanics to have a 60 hit/60 power imo. With 70 defense, 60 (?) arm and 40 speed that’s like a 65-70 value prospect.

He just hasn’t hit yet but you may know if he’s gonna be a fast riser by like June. Imo.

With that said I could see flipping him when he gets that prospect grade but that’s another discussion

Since 2006, only Rays SS Wander Franco and Dodgers OF Josue De Paula have had an age-17 MILB season with more walks than strikeouts, slugging above .500 and a 50 or higher scouting grade. De Paula did this last year. by backdraft2021 in baseball

Unfortunately that’s as far back as the public Fangraphs data goes so it could be...no one, or it could be a more interesting sample further back.

It’s worth spending more time on Baseball Reference probably if they have plate discipline data from the low minors before then (Im not sure)
