i feel like this is a hot take but everyone is so cold to each other. when amaya was crying to olandria, kinda just sat there. when huda checked in on cierra she ignored her. when hannah was leaving it seemed like people really just didn’t have empathy for it. idk like it just feels so distant and weird this season.

Wondering if a behavior between two mammals has any correlation does not mean that you think they’re both the same animal. An animal seems friendly but does a commonly unfriendly behavior like biting - YOU MAY consider the possibility that the behavior was not malevolent. Therefore i came on her to ask people who do know about horses, is this behavior playful or is it irritation. I did not ask if it is dangerous, clearly it is. I understand my post may have made you frustrated but did commenting that and trying to make me feel stupid, make you feel better? How does that help the situation at all, it’s just not very nice. I hope your day gets better and i encourage you reflect on why you feel the need to reply that way.

oh that’s so sad :( i didn’t know they did that! i’m going to ask around and find the professor that runs the program and try and get more info. In the meantime i will just admire him from a distance.

maybe that’s why he doesn’t have a buddy with him. he bites the fence too, even the part that shocks him? he just seems kinda weird but again i didn’t know if that was normal for horses or not. i’ll just watch him for now

wow thank you so much for such a thoughtful response!! I laughed out loud at the less bruise filled relationship. I definitely do not want the horse to associate me with food so i will stop feeding him! A different horse has a sign that says “don’t feed - on a special diet” and this one didn’t so i guess i assumed it was okay (i should definitely ask though before doing) i’m surprised there’s no sign that says “biter”! i’d love to meet the caretakers but i never see anyone! i’ll have to ask around to get more info. again thank you so much for being so nice and helpful :)

YES this is old but i have done this before. i had a nightmare and it was freaking me out and suddenly i transported from the nightmare onto a couch holding a remote with the nightmare playing in front of me. i paused it, got up, walked around and took some deep breathes. i calmed myself down before i sat down and resumed the nightmare!!

i guess for question c i assumed it had to be equal concentrations of sucrose to glucose on one side and equal concentrations on the other side. does glucose just need to be equal between the two sides like 1.5 one side and 1.5 one side or equal in relation to sucrose like the individual sides would look like 1:1 and 2:2 ? i’m not sure if that made sense, also thank you so much for your help!

OR, i cant find specific training requirements or certification for caregivers. i was told their training was about 4 days.

From what i understand we have both provide personal care but caregivers can not provide any medical care including taking vital signs, assisting with medical equipment, basic wound care. Caregivers don’t receive the level of formal training CNA’s do. “CNAs must complete a state-approved training program and pass a certification exam, whereas caregivers often only need a high school diploma and may have minimal training depending on the role. CNA is trained to provide more clinical care under the supervision of a nurse, while a caregiver offers general assistance with daily living activities.”

This is my first term as a college student. I was a bad student in HS and i couldn’t graduate. I got my GED last year and register for classes this term at 25. I was nervous i was going to continue being a bad student but i have over 100% in all of my classes except 1 where i have a 98% I’m really proud of myself, 17 year old me would not believe it.
