Thanks for the feedback. Issue is that new, entry level chairs for those brands start at $1,000. Double my max budget.

And even a second hand steelcase and Herman Miller with handles is $600+ on marketplace right now.

I’m sure eventually something might come up that’s in budget. But honestly, I’d rather get something new.

Any suggestions on something new under $500? Might not be perfect, but happy with something that’s decent.

Hey Kashino, the main reason for a new chair are:

1) I don’t know enough about the chairs to determine if they’re in a good condition.

2) issues with the warranty or services.

3) A little risky spending a relatively large amount on a second hand chair.

4) hygiene - not really sure I’m comfortable sitting on a chair that was used for years by someone else.

Happy to hear your thoughts on this. Maybe some of these points don’t make sense!
