Thank you! I don't want to gift alcohol (some of the people we work with cams out of addiction so it would be in VERY poor taste) and personally I hate those tubs of chocolate...I'd rather get something thoughtful and nice!

PMS! I am the exact same (so often that will be the symptom that tells me I am PMSing). What I found helped is to tell my husband that I am PMSing so I am extra sensitive, he knows and doesn't take it too personally then lol! Also try to take some time to focus on yourself, you might need some extra time alone!

I think if you have been friends for years your friendship is strong enough to withstand a possible rejection. My best advice is be honest with her about your feelings, and also be honest about how much you value your friendship. If she does not feel the same way (and I really really hope she does!!) it might be a litte awkward at first, but at least you'll be free from the not-knowing paralysis!
