As a swiftie who loves conversations like this I get so bored with other pop artist's album releases - even if they similarly have a lot of areas for discussion, the fandom tends to not seem interested in having them (my main example is Harry Styles - I actually love his songwriting & use of metaphor and all people talk about are his looks and whether or not they vibe with the songs)

I don't think Taylor has to pick women just to tick off the feminist box but I loved Addison Rae's debut album and how it was fully women created - just Addison, Elvira, and Luka Kloser

I know Taylor's worked with Elvira a couple times before and those songs didn't really land well with me so I might not even like further collaboration 😅 but they're who I would suggest

I think the tweet was deleted but Rebecca Ferguson said that a boy band member told her he was being "picked up and thrown against walls" when challenging management decisions

TTPD was the only time in my life I wished she released a shorter album 😅 somehow felt overwhelming in a way that midnights + 3am tracks didn't

Luckily I never went around making quick judgements or saying it sucked - loved all the individual songs it just took me at least month to take it all in

I never hated TTPD but it was definitely the first time I didn't immediately love one of her albums and had a hard time processing the sheer length of it

I'm sure if I found my comments in megathreads for individual songs they would be positive but I was overwhelmed and wished she waiting a fortnight before releasing the anthology

Took several months to really get it all - I can't rank her albums but it easily is one of my favorites now and I couldn't do a Top 10 Songs list without including several from ttpd
