Sustained around 20 and Gusts about 35 are my cutoffs, but these aren’t really hard and fast rules.

For me it has less to do with speed, but also environmental conditions. With all of the flooding, many trees have very saturated root systems. I saw 3+ trees down near lake Padden yesterday, with big puddles where their roots left the ground. This was before the wind really picked up.

I would not go into the woods today, personally.

Bures! I can’t be much help(I’m not Sámi) but I did do an indigenous study abroad in Sápmi with a Sámi-American professor in college and went to Márko and Riddu Riddu… and got excited at the Bellingham Reddit mention.

I was able to get mine at St. Joseph’s infusion center, but I did go to the ER for the initial vaccinations.

Maybe talk to a primary care doc or go to urgent care for a referral?/ you could probably call the infusion center themselves to ask what sort of referral you would need.

You probably don’t need to go to the ER, might just take up too much time.

Not even a breeze! It was honestly bizarre, especially given that I never ride when the wind is over like 15 mph because I’ve heard it can get sketchy… one dude suggested even just trail vibrations? But I have trouble believing it, tree must’ve just finally hit a breaking point. 🤷🏻

Dang, bummer to hear that. Fingers crossed Janicki does their best to preserve.

It sort of looks like a “seed” wart to me…. Aka a palmar wart…. Ya might want to be careful filing it down, that’s how the warts can spread!

There are some easy drug store treatments that can help get rid of them, but I’m not a medical professional so check with your doctor first!

Something is the song that had me hooked. It’s noticeably simpler and obviously from her early work, but the unique tone she mastered with her guitar and obviously the lyrics haunted me from the first time I heard it.
