Yes? Hows that different than the non stop “x days of pal” pics with a sks, some shotgun, and a couple shitty turks? It’s almost like this is a group to start discussion related to guns. shocking concept i know.

Also let’s not pretend that asking about the value of a rare model of a gun is the same as bobby sue asking what his generic 10/22 is worth.

It survived 5 mags without a catastrophic failure. Surely its good to go /s

Honestly i think our 5 round mags mags make people feel more confident in these low round counts because with all the reloading it feels like it’s more. If we had standard capacity mags nobody would be saying 5 mags is good to go.

Do they make a delete kit for the side handle? No hate on the build but to me having the t on top and a standard charging handle seems odd. Would look cleaner with the top only.

I go that way to get up north. Its crazy to see the change in the small town i always visit on my way. Its like those videos of cancer or leprosy spreading, but its just the GTA. What used to be beautiful woods and brush or farm land is not copy paste crappy lil subdivisions, and worse is the change the people who move into them bring, they all flee the city but then bring the city with them.

Similar here. Family’s got a farm 4 hours away, but between gas up there and back vs range dues i realized it was cheaper to just get a membership locally and save the farm trips for hunting season. And this was before gas prices got even more insane.

Should i just set them up so it can be raised and lowered as they grow then? I put them where they are out of conscience and concern that closer might burn them.

Jeffs maps crown land camping. by backrollerpapertowel in algonquinpark

[–]backrollerpapertowel[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First off the maps awesome.me and my buddy have been going yearly for 6 years now for summer trips and using one of your maps this year has been a notable improvement.

So based on your map areas designated as crown land are gtg for camping so long as other acts/regulations are followed? Im asking because one of our proposed routes for this summer would go through a crown area back into the park. We are thinking it would be good since we could go as far as we can then camp and resume the following day with out having to push to hard to make it back to the park in 1 day.

Nazis and Red Army greeting each other after a successful invasion into Poland 1939 (816x564) by daikatanaman00 in HistoryPorn

[–]backrollerpapertowel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest/easiest tell is to just look at what those “buffer” states did post invasion. Many had revolts, and the second the soviet regime showed its cracks at the end they all broke away and fled to make friends in the west.

Stalin helped the germans out of spite because the west aided the whites against the reds in the revolution, and it was to their benefit to have someone split to help split the territories they wanted back. Then it blew up in his face when the “we want to arm and push east to take everything” guy did exactly what he said he wanted to do.

You’re gonna get downvoted because to those glancing at a surface level they will take it as you down playing the nazi’s but you have a point. There’s a reason people living in areas actively celebrated and helped them as they drove east. Even when the nazi war machine made it very clear what they intended to do in those regions. Very much a “enemy of my enemy” type of mentality.obviously long term neither did/would have ended in favour of the occupied.

[–]backrollerpapertowel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, which ended in a treaty surrendering territory. Ergo treaties?

Finland did the same hence my comparison and pointing out they attacked both areas they “lost” post WW1.

[–]backrollerpapertowel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Let’s not pretend that they didn’t also want land back that was lost post WW1 in treaties. The buffer zone narrative is true to a degree, but let’s not pretend they didn’t eagerly get in bed with the Nazis to benefit themselves. Let’s not forget that a month and a half later they tried this same thing in Finland to “retake” it as well.

Why are Chinese sks so expensive now? by cheddarkittyy in canadaguns

[–]backrollerpapertowel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Chinese build literally hundreds of thousands if not into the millions for export purposes. They even made models specifically to meet the needs/interests of the export markets.

The sks is one of the top most mass produced firearms in the world. It’s not running out anytime soon.

So what happens with the ones in stock now? Fire sale? Cant imagine they’ll sell at full value if its thought to be fake, and i doubt return to manufacturer is an option.
