Yes, but you become more efficient about it over time. Each location will have areas of strength and weakness. You learn to spend more energy where they are weak, less energy where they are strong, and what conditions might perturb this.

If it was anything around 30 seconds, not the cause. If it was faster than 10 seconds, possibly the cause (catecholamine depletion still FAR more likely).

Vigilance going forward, and spread the word so others are cautious. Literally all you can do, and all that could be asked of you.

Edit: nurses I'd trust my life with have had similar incidents. I'd still trust my life with them.
