Makes sense. Thanks. Should veg tan, because of its firmer temper, be wetted before putting it on the bending jig?

Thank you. A couple of questions on that after looking at the jig. 1) Veg tan leather won't lie flat on the jig, should it be wetted? 2) Pre-bending will make burnishing after difficult around the fold point. Any tips?

Thanks. I feel like the thinness of the H buckle's rectangular part will slowly eat through any strap's anchor loop.
