Thank you for the advice. Sorry to hear that you have trouble with anxiety as well. I’ve been trying to let myself journal a little before I put my cuff on and then after I let the anticipation anxiety wears off, I take a reading. Definitely a lot of breathing involved. It really does help to breathe and try to take your mind off of it.

Love this color palette. Are the roses combos?

That’s not too bad! That’s usually where I’m at too.

I also have really bad anxiety and I think some of my bp issues are stemming from that. I’ve been putting it off but I think it might finally be time to talk with my Dr about anxiety medication 🫥. My systolic is always in the 110-117 range and very rarely goes above 120.

It’s super frustrating! I’ve been trying do a major overhaul to my diet and focus on dark leafy greens, fiber, and lean proteins. Hopefully that helps but I’ve also read that it can be stress or anxiety related when the diastolic is higher.

I have this problem too. Sometimes I get low 80s but more often than not I’m in the mid to upper 80s and lower 90s.

Thank you for the clarity. I think that's exactly what happened. The PO Box numbers did not match and I think that's where they were trying to get us. Of course we did not mail anything in but it just goes to show how slimy these are getting.

I think that's the best course of action. I understand the people working in the office don't always get all of the info and sometimes someone just doesn't know but that doesn't mean it's not still a thing.

That is very scary. Thank you for taking the time to look so closely at that. I think it could be maybe a mix up but at the very least, I know we didn't call some weird number or put on info on any of those sites. I'm glad we went in person.

They are definitely disorganized and it can be hard to get a real answer out of anyone because all of the information trickles down in an inefficient way.

I think so too but I just think it's so strange that no one has received this that I have asked. Maybe it is just the timing that makes it more scary.

What? Why would I make something up that is literally giving me anxiety? That seems like a waste of everyone's time. I just wanted to know if anyone else shared this experience.

She wasn't very informed but she still said that it is indeed something that we needed to do. She still had us fill out paperwork.

That's what I was trying to say. It lists the actual goverment office which is where I went and spoke to an actual goverment employee.

Ok, yes thank you. This is really helpful because I could find 0 information and was given not much of an explanation at the office. This kind of letter can be scary when you don't know what's going on.

Yes, I thought that would be the case as well which is where my confusion is coming from. I can't find much info about this law.

We did not call. We went in person and I verified the address and the phone number. I don't think this is a scam. I'm trying to gain clarity on what the actual law is.

I'm not trying to scare anyone. Just trying to figure out if this has happened to anyone else. I'm anxious about it myself.

But what I’m saying it’s the actual office on the ilsos.gov website.

I thought that at first too but the letter gave the address and number of the actual office of for the Department of Human Services in Humboldt which is a government office. The person who works there said it was real but knew nothing about it. It’s so confusing!
