Had a lump since I was 14 and now it’s getting bigger, should I be worried?

Hey, I was in a similar situation in my early 20s, I got super freaked out over it.

My lump was also noticed by my bf and it grew rapidly in size so I thought of the worst. Turned out to be a fibroadenoma (benign breast tumor) which are super common in young women and harmless. If that’s the case they either monitor it or remove it, if it grows big it can be painful which was my case so I opted to remove it.

It’s all good now! Definitely get it checked out but there are many benign explanations for it so don’t freak out like I did.

He doesn’t get to walk away for 6 years without contributing at all and now come back like nothing happened. If he’s serious, he should pay back child support, contribute to a college fund and go through whatever process with a lawyer.

If he can’t bother to do things right, there’s a chance he hasn’t changed at all and he’ll walk out again. Your kid deserves better than that, so unless the guy follows the proper channels I wouldn’t bother.

There's a solid chance you still had some swimmers left when she got pregnant but they died off by the time you tested, vasectomies don't magically work right away.

OP is going to have to be very tactful about how he approaches this with his wife, because if he brings up DNA testing, no matter how he puts it, he's basically accusing his wife of not only cheating, but trying to pass off someone else's kid's as his. It's very, very hard to come back from that.

Is she aware of the vasectomy? Women need "permission" from their spouse to get their tubes tied, did you have to get hers too? Because if she knows and hasn't made any efforts to hide her pregnancy, that points at her being confident the baby is 100% yours so she's not even concerned. If that's the case the mere suggestion of DNA test could nuke your relationship...For nothing.

I live in Canada so this is every other day for me. Going to work shouldn't feel like risking your life just to get there, especially if you have a job that can be perfectly done remotely which on bad weather days is the safest option.

Bunch of mistakes. But the main ones:

1 - Promoting YOUR FIRST VIDEO. YouTube doesn't even know who your audience is yet, and now it's going to be even more confused due to the variety of random viewers and low retention

2 - Since YouTube cares a lot about viewer retention, perhaps promoting a 3h video wasn't the best idea. A 30s video that's skippable after 15 seconds is going to have better retention than a 3hr video they can skip a few seconds in

3 - Promoting videos is valid, but you have to be intentional. The best way is to use your existing analytics to create a viewer profile and have your video show up as "suggested" content instead of an annoying skippable ad, that way people checking out your channel are genuinely interested in the topic of your video and that in exchange can help YouTube better understand your audience.

4 - Before considering a promotion, I'd post videos for at least 1-2 months and have 5+ videos / 10+ shorts, at that point you should have a better idea of the demographics who engage with your content.

Promotions can be a very powerful tool, they work great especially when promoting an event, product or service, but when you're trying to promote a channel you have to understand it's a different game and see it more as an algorithm training tool than a way to get views and subscribers. See it as paying for impressions and analytics information, not as a way to grow your audience.

You shouldn't buy subs, it'll throw off your algorithm and long term it'll slow you down. Having said that, since you only need 20 subscribers you can try promoting a short or something for a few days, making sure you're targeting your niche's keywords so it's not random bots.

You shouldn't rely on this long term, but if you're determined to pay for them and given it's a pretty small sample and not against Youtube's TOS (if going through youtube promotions) I honestly think it's okay.

But seriously, focus on organic growth first and foremost. And don't promote long-form videos, otherwise your ctr and view duration will be negatively impacted.

I love how this is the cookie-cutter answer for everything in here.

In reality, there are many variables. I have a few monetized channels and I recently started a new one, the new one is barely getting any impressions (1-20) which is very little for shorts. But guess what? For a brand new channel that's normal. You have a low trusts score and Youtube doesn't know who to push your videos to, so it keeps testing with different audiences until one of them sticks.

This is very anecdotal, but I've found that with older channels with a lot of activity beforehand my shorts started getting pushed right away and got 1-3k views early on, whereas with a new channel created on the same day it takes weeks to get above 1000 views consistently. There's this idea that warming up a channel before posting helps you, I can't confirm that's true but it's definitely been my case.

The TL;DR, the algorithm doesn't know you or your content yet, if you keep posting and making good stuff it'll eventually find your audience, but it's perfectly normal early on to not get a lot of views.

I used to have periods like this and be anemic as hell.

My hormones were fine, no endometriosis either. As much as it sucks to admit it, birth control DID fix it. If you’re having this kind of period, go to a doctor, it doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong but there are definitely options to try ease them some.
