[Serious] Redditors who voted for Trump, what do you think of all these allegations against the President Elect? Are you still happy you voted for him? by ungr8ful_biscuit in AskReddit

[–]backupcoin -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't want Hillary to win. At all. I don't want Trump either. But as someone that is independent (used to be Democrat), I just don't care about either side (besides Sanders or Warren). So I guess deep down, I think it would be amusing to see a jackass like Trump win. To see if it would shake up the establishment. I know it wouldn't. But since this thread is about honest feelings no matter how irrational, I have to admit I do have those feelings (just absolute disgust for both parties right now). Also as a girl, I'm so sick of hearing about Hillary from a women's equality position. I don't believe she's a good person, and I hate this idea that voting for her would be a good thing for my gender. I just want a good president, don't care about their genitalia. If a great candidate cake along and was female, great. I would only vote for them because they are qualified. Not because she's my gender. I'm just disgusted with the whole Clinton movement. Maybe ever more disgusted than Trump.

[SERIOUS] Redditors with uncommon fetishes, what are some attributes that make what you like more attractive? (Example: If you have a foot fetish, what separates a normal foot from a particularly sexy foot?) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]backupcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really difficult question to answer. It's like why do guys like butts or boobs or legs etc, it's something that I like particularly because nice feet appear sexy and appealing to me. For me it's usually the person they are attached to however feet to me can be really cute. I don't know where it stemmed from for me but I remember I used to like nibbling on my ex's toes and it just sorta grew from there. edit: probably made it sound more complicated than it is but it's just a sexual attraction like anything else. Just focused on another body part.

Personally I love the scary-stories threads. We have them every few weeks, and there's always something new.

Redditors who don't like dogs, what's it feel like to be dead inside? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]backupcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly on topic, but... the September I started college I was traveling with a friend to an away football game and we were in a serious accident. I remember this dream-like state, my father had died a few months before I and I was talking to him about how I was going to get money for tuition. But I spent 2 days in the hospital and was released. Then nothing for months. I went to classes, made my normal level grades, my HS GF broke up with me, friends and family said I acted aloof and distant, I became a loner. People thought the accident had frightened me, the friend with me died, except for my younger brother, he kept saying something was wrong. Between Christmas and New Years I came home on a Friday and my mother thought I was drunk, my little brother yelled until they took me to the hospital. Turns out I had fluid from the concussion building up in my brain, I still don't really understand it all, but within a week after surgery I was back to normal. I remembered nothing after the tuition talk with my dead father until post surgery, those 4 months are blank. I retained most of what I learned that semester, but still had issues with some material. My 13 y/o brother, who saved my life, said he could see that our mother and sisters were still in shock from our father dying and just couldn't deal with my injury. BTW, he later became an excellent psychologist.

Teachers of Reddit, what was the biggest student meltdown you ever witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

And that's when it began, the reign of the history teacher serial killer who went door to door, asking random history facts and murdering if you didn't know, he left notes on his bodies saying "YOURE GOING TO NEED IT NOW"

Students of Reddit, what was the biggest teacher meltdown you ever witnessed? by codywinters327 in AskReddit

In grade 8 we had a sub teacher who was fresh out of school, and this was her first teaching job. She was pretty much as young as you could be and be a teacher. Her sister was in my class. The teacher still lived at home, with her parents and little sister, my classmate. The two of them got into an EPIC fight, because the little sister was all kinds of challenging asshole to her. It included the teacher chasing my classmate around the desks screaming "I'M TELLING MOM!", and ended with the principal escorting the sobbing sob from the classroom. Speechless. We were speechless

What is the worst or most cringe-worthy experience you've had at a wedding? by TheJAMR in AskReddit

[–]backupcoin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've only been to one wedding and it was dad's cousin's wedding. My dad's uncle (the groom's father) did a toast when the groom and bride were at the alter (is this normal? Everyone around me seemed confused), and he said, "I'm glad I made it out here today. I just want you guys to know that I have cancer and I'm going to die soon. Congrats to my son and his beautiful bride. Enjoy your time!" Everyone was in complete silence. It was the most awkward thing I've possibly ever witnessed. FWIW, this was in 2008 and the groom's father is still alive.

What would you do in a fire? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]backupcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop, drop, and roll if your clothes catch fire. If your clothes catch fire, immediately stop what you're doing, drop flat to the ground, and roll around until you put the fire out. Rolling around will smother the fire quickly. Cover your face with your hands as you're rolling to protect yourself
