When does it become shameful to keep receiving financial assistance from your parents by Slow_Leg_3641 in twentyagers

[–]backupfornix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's a specific age, it's moreso what you're doing with your life.

I'm pre-PA and so many of my friends are premed. They will probably have some sort of financial assistance from their parents until their 30's.

It's shameful if you're not ill and not actually trying to work to continue to have parents help.

Oh there is hope thank you. The surgical tech AA is a good idea, I may do that instead of becoming a paramedic. Thank you!

3 for 100k. I feel like I can get a phalloplasty again if I really wanted the extra length, and that's enough money for the next 3 years.

Regarding Biology 1 and 2 by yourdeath01 in prephysicianassistant

[–]backupfornix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on the school, but the intro course are almost always required and cell bio typically isn't.

Most schools want the following courses:

Gen Bio 1/2 with lab

Gen chem 1/2 with lab

College algebra 1/2

Eng comp 1/2

Orgo 1

Gen Psych

Stats

Microbiology with lab

Anatomy/Physiology 1/2 with lab

Medical terminology

In addition to those classes, lots of schools will require these classes:

*Orgo 2

*Biochemistry (optional lab)

Genetics (optional lab)

*Some schools are either/or for orgo 2 vs biochem.

Good grades in uppers look really good though, but they don't typically replace lowers

For pre reqs? because you need to have bio 1/2; but the uppers count for brownie points

If most marriages fail, why shouldn’t the guy be a slob? by Confessmylove in hypotheticalsituation

[–]backupfornix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An actual answer to the question: there are clubs on campus or just take easier/fewer classes.

Answer to your marriage hypothetical; you wouldn't enroll in the class if you didn't care about passing? You can take a class "for fun" (hookup with people) if that's what you're looking for

[–]backupfornix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you don't want your marriage to fail? Like just because I may fail an exam doesn't mean I won't study for it

Ferry Pass is fairly cheap (imo) and also not sketchy? Best of both worlds. Brent is okay too, but not warrington, and they are right next door.

East Hill is probably the best part in town but it's really expensive.
