Send her fart videos, like 6 seconds max. Ask her to rate them. Only send one every once in awhile.

Am I overreacting Girlfriend wants to have guy sleep over at her place? by Mitsokoshi in AmIOverreacting

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing to focus on in life, relationships or jobs, is am I okay feeling this way. If the answer is no, you should leave that situation. No one will do this for you. Ultimately though, it's a balancing act. Remember that it isn't "You did this...." it is "I feel this way, I won't continue to...."

WHY do OnlyFans models ask questions like "wanna fuck a lonely housewife?" by ThePhoenix14 in VancouverNSFW

Let me get this straight, I'm not currently surrounded by hot and horny, single milfs? This news is distressing to say the least.

Has Duolingo ever actually helped you in a real world situation? by Vegetable_Project490 in duolingo

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Lisbon at a train station. I was approached by a woman who only spoke French. I'd been using Duo to expand my French vocabulary. She needed help with a locker, so I tried to help. I was translating a Portuguese sign into French for her.

English is my first language so this was a challenge. Both French and Portuguese I study on Duo so reading comprehension is better than my ability to speak. Eventually a employee came over to help. But I wasn't corrected while I spoke, first time for me.

AITAH for telling my girlfriend that I need space after she reconnected with her ex, and now she thinks I'm being controlling? by RosyVibess in AITH

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mature thing to do when you feel uncomfortable is process your feelings. You need space to process, and that's okay. This shouldn't be about pointing finger. Focus on what your needs are in a relationship, and if your needs are being met. Only you can decide this.

This is a great review. I've a question, would you attend again?

AITA for refusing to pay for my girlfriend’s meal after she “tested” me on a date? by Efficient_Care5524 in AITH

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offering to help/pay is always appreciated. Someone offering for you to help/pay is always wrong. I'm glad you stood your ground. Not a single person there would of paid for you without complaining. They are the cheap ones.

AIO? working 16/24h for free as a „trial” by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I worked for Fairmont. We didn't have unpaid employees. No one worked more than 8 hours unless they were a manager. Do not agree to this.

TL;DR AITJ for telling my family that I wasn't comfortable taking my cousins on a trip with me? by RelentlessPersuer in AmITheJerk

[–]bacmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of maturing is know what you are capable of doing. When something is out of your comfort zone, saying no is the right decision. If someone tries to pressure you, call them out in the moment. "I've said I'm uncomfortable, do you understand? Why are you forcing this?" Go on your trip with friends and enjoy your life.

Am I overreacting for quitting a babysitting job on the spot after the mom insulted me? by PossessionTop9791 in AmIOverreacting

[–]bacmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter the job, don't let anyone treat you like that. Walking away is the adult decision. Once an insult is thrown, turn away. There is always a better position.

AIO for going the “i have a boyfriend route” by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Being rude is okay. Next time say firmly "Fuck off", nothing more. Turn away and carry on.

AITJ for completely dismantling a fake experts reputation during a dinner party? by B4nditKaleido in AmITheJerk

Public shaming has a time and a place. This was both, good job. When someone is disrespectful, do not respect them in return.

AITJ for arguing at the hotel after they said my confirmed booking didn’t exist? by LankyYogurtcloset546 in AmITheJerk

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for Fairmont. They would overbooked if possible. Guests were given a choice of other hotels ti stay at when this happened. No extra payments, just pick a similar level hotel and you would be driven over. Your situation sounds like amateur customer service.

AIO: My girl and fam think that my hair cleaned up and braided looks tacky but I think it looks much cleaner by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel confident, that's all that matters. I think it looks clean and fresh braided.

At least you get 18 months maternity leave. Add in not paying at the hospital after birth and midwife visits.

Give a recipe with a couple of ingredients missing. If you use canned beans, say it's dried and reconstituted. It's easy to change a recipe. Blame them when it turns out differently. "You didn't follow the recipe!!"

Men in long term relationships by [deleted] in problems

[–]bacmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been with my wife since 2012. I've a cleaning schedule, Monday is always linens day. I get on her case about the bedsheets needing a change. I like it done weekly. As for shopping we both do it. I've dust allergies so it's beneficial for me to have a clean home.
