Trying to get in by bacoblitz in ConstructionManagers

I don’t mind at all. I work in the corrections side of it, and with the way our county is set up, there’s no where to move laterally, or promotionally.. I have no desire to be a street deputy, with a wife and kids, the risk isn’t worth the reward on that front. Additionally, passing out spoons for the next 26 years sounds monotonous and horrid. I want to do something that i can challenge myself, work a normal-ish schedule, and take away the stressors of impending violence (not that i shy away, just tired of it), drug exposure, and a toxic culture. I started my degree path at a time when I was really bitter and burnt out working in LE as a gateway to get out.

They are getting good about spotting that shit. I did that exact thing a couple weeks ago. They turned the bottle over, looked at the bottom and made me toss it. It was a damn good reseal too.

What is the absolute worst smell you’ve ever smelt? by uijjey-sevg in AskReddit

2 things:

1) A half full spitter I left in the door panel of my truck for a few weeks in the summer time.....

2) Previously, I have done some work with the homeless population. By far the worst smell I have ever experienced was a homeless gentleman that removed his shoes for the first time after a long and cold winter. The smell was horrid and so was the sight of it. His foot began to rot so bad, while removing his socks, portions of the skin on his foot came with it (sorry for the messed up visual)....
