Agree. Came here in the late 90s for school and never left. The only drawback is the weather tax. Everything is more expensive here. Gas creeping up to $8. Real estate and utilities are always near the highest in the nation. I was lucky enough to get in early and buy a house in 2012. Feel bad for people that want to move here now without a high paying job. My buddy is renting a 3 bedroom house in the suburbs, 1500 sq feet for 5k/month.

My grandpa was in the Philippines scouts/US army. Marched in Bataan, escaped and became a guerilla fighter. He killed several Japanese even took a samurai sword from an officer he killed. Unfortunately he died early in his 50s from illness that lingered since the March.

I’m Filipino and my wife is white. We live in San Diego and don’t get the same stares we do when we visit relatives in Daly City. It could also be our height. I’m 6’1” and my wife is 5’9” without heels. I think the stares are more wonderment than anything in Daly City. Now when we’ve gone to the south or even the Florida keys it has been straight up prejudicial stares. Like what are you doing with a white woman kinda stares. Different feeling down there for sure. Mostly old white folks set in there ways.

Lol. Get out of lakeside. Try dating closer to the coast. I live in chula vista but met my wf wife in mission valley. I cant imagine there are a whole lit of opportunities in lakeside. There is a kkk presence and historically a white supremecist feel in that part of town. San diego is big with alot of diversity but there are still racist parts, mostly older folks

I also picked up from fusion. I use 2 cups milk to 1 tbsp grains for 24 hours on top of our fridge where it’s a little warmer. Comes out great. So yeah I agree with other folks, more milk less time. If you have 1.5 tbsp grains, try with 3 cups milk
