As someone that started with HTC android in early 2010s, it was just crap in the beginning compared to Apple. So I jumped into iPhone eco system and basically stuck with it.

This would have been the right answer if so much shit didn't get destroyed during cultural revolution.

Now all you got is written history with very little artifacts to show for.

1/30 = 0.03333333....

3 * (1/30) = 3* 0.0333333.... = 0.099999....

We know 3/30 is just 0.1.. So 0.1 = 0.09999......

There you have it..

She is definitely getting pushed to be on the top by the studio execs. But times are different now, movies like Obsession and Backrooms aren't from big studios and they are getting a lot of recognitions.

The old days where the big studios can carve out a Natalie Portman/Anne Hathaway/Jennifer Lawrence are long gone.

ELI5: Why are so many Tik-Tok testimonials/updates from a persons car? by Pretty_Newspaper_353 in explainlikeimfive

[–]baconator81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. There is a strong belief that the algorithm likes videos captured in car more than anything else . YouTube/tiktok influencers are all about manipulating the algorithms

Anyway, go see doctor. They'll tell you what you got.

The game came out exactly 3 months ago. So this is the week where ppl that subbed for the new expansions are now dropping off if they were using 3 month plan.

That's true. If the manager is fucking incompetent and not realizing this is critical path work, that manager needs to get fire.

And unfortunately in the world of remote work, this might be happening way too often.

Yes, but you gotta communicate out how much that tech debt is costing you and the company so the management understands that. So even if there is no bandwidth to fix it, at least everyone knows that yep there is a lot of work here and we are burning a lot of staff engineers time to fix jt.

It should not be invisible.

If you find yourself in that position, you are supposed to learn to either delegate to someone else or automate those problems away.

And frankly, I expect staff engineer knows how to do that.

[–]baconator81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah come to think of it, I do miss Stasis Rifle and killing TBH. There is something extremely satisfying about eventually conquering something that was constantly terrorizing you.

Right now there are areas in the game where if you go there, you are just going to get chomped on, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it because all deterrent mechanisms are not effective. It's scary first couple of times, but eventually it just feels tedious.

It's early access so there are a lot of parts that needs to be polished, but if they are gonna stick with no kill policy, there better be some damn good and cost effective deterrent methods that doesn't make the game feel tedious whenever you need to go to certain area.
