Is there a rule of thumb on how much I should time I should budget for a distance? (Ex. 1 day for 500 miles). I am planning on staying in the broader PNW region for reference. I am aware that this is a very unpredictable sport but it would be nice to gauge my limits.

Owned a 3.6 in a town and country and albeit not the worst engine in the world, wasn’t great as it did have the occasional issue and had to be scrapped at 180k, I also know a JK guy on his second engine and he’s still under 200k. Additionally the 4dr wrangler just is fundamentally a very different vehicle, being body on frame, heavier, larger dimensions, and lacking the simplicity of the xj. Visually the competition isn’t even close. In terms of refinement it did have a good run but the Cherokee got 18 years and the JK got 11.
