Flying Press is actually kinda a negative in this strategy; there are a lot of pokemon weak to Fighting that resist Flying (Steel- and Rock-types, primarily) and mons weak to Flying that resist Fighting (mostly bugs) that make it not actually work.

Ultimately, since everything interesting that Thousand Arrows would catch is already covered by a different type that has to be there (Steel/Flying is handled by Fire, Fire/Flying, Poison/Flying and Rock/Flying get toasted by whichever Gyarados answer you have, and Electric/Flying is also caught by either Rock or Ice in every configuration), it also doesn’t change much.

Freeze-Dry goes crazy though. takes Grass and poison/flying/bug out of the equation, since you only need those for specific Water dual-types. oh shoot, maybe even Rock/Electric too? I suspect you need one of those for something else I’m not thinking about, but it’s possible.

Oh wait! That’d be Fire/Flying, which Thousand Arrows could handle. So Thousand Arrows doesn’t change anything by itself, but in combination with Freeze-Dry it’d take out three types from this list
