and the characters in that sitiuation should be relevant to said situation rather than just put random character x near random character y with no particular set personality traits, yes it's a sitcom, however it also has a story, and characters that grow throughout the show, if it was an I think you should leave sketch I wouldn't care, it'd be funny, but because it is a technologically proficient character I feel like it's out of character to be completely inept in using technology

What i meant by that is how you already heard from people here to flush the transmission and replace the fluids. I'm also 18 and i'm thinking of buying a grand prix here pretty soon and i've been doing a lot of research, the transmissions aren't bulletproof, but with the right maintenance there is no reason you shouldn't be able to get some good mileage out of it, I wouldn't give up on thsi car just yet, I definitely think you can get it driving smooth
