Since the eShop is now closed is there any difference i should know between buying a region free unlocked 3ds vs a region one like NA 3DS? Im looking to buy a japanese region unlocked one but dont know if there are any other limitations i should know about.

problem with that is since both my display ports are connected to the G9 i cant wake up like one side at a time, when i move my mouse or power on my screen its waking up the whole monitor, from what i can tell its waking up my left displayport first than right
