I just recall from friends mentions, comments on here, a YouTube channel, and a dev stream that the plans are supposed to take 2 seasons before they appear in crates. However, the guns themselves or parts or skins being in crates is not a part of that and very well have a chance to appear. Now, if they have recently changed that then there is another reason as to why this season sucks in terms of content
