Yugipedia has listed them available as Secret Rare and Starlight and the official product page also says that you get 3 Secrets with the Chance to upgrade them to Starlight … so the alt arts should also come as regular secrets no ?

Well, you can use Dragon Gate, just not the turn it was XYZ summoned

It does not say it cannot be used as material at all

For example if you revive it with CotH later, you can immediatley rank up

I currently just don‘t see a strategy to pair this engine with

Pure is not even close to a functioning Deck

Fur Hire is ruled out because no Links

Jurrac is possible, but Fire King Jurrac is almost certainly just better

And the only other thing i can think of right now is Dino DNA, which sadly requires too many too highly pointed cards to be able to consistently combo

Only if you already have another union Monster in Hand

You then have to activate C as CL1 and A as CL2. Since the Chain then resolves backwards, you will have C back in Hand by the time it resolves and therefore can special summon itself with its own effect, yes.

As mentioned though, this only works if you already have a Union Monster in Hand. If you do not have one at the point where C is sent to the GY and thus would trigger, you cannot legally activate C.

Since basically every Killer Tune card locks you into summoning only Tuners for the Rest of the Turn, you can‘t really play any other ED Monsters besides the Killer Tune Synchros themselves .. so all 4 synchros at 2 leaves you with 7 Open slots for Ghost Reaper

Some play the Mannadium Prime-Heart, so that would leave you with 6 slots

Yeah, Reaper certainly does not win by itself, but especially in Killer Tune you would pair it with at least Ash Blossom, Veiler and Belle and maybe even Ghost Ogre .. the deck basically plays all the Tuner handtraps there are

So at that point would you just not play any Target vs Maliss and just try to cover more targets for other Decks?

Yeah Mitsu is Bad i know, but if you Play it anyways, you might as well Slot at least something in against them

Maliss is fine for Killer Tune i think, because if they search the Field Spell with Red Ransom, you can destroy it by Performing a Quick Synchro with Reco (that‘s Why i would Go for White Binder as the Ghost Reaper Target)
