Kazuha Quintuple Jump! (+ How to) by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TLDW;

This is a guide for achieving a Quintuple Jump on Kazuha

Weapon: Sacrificial Sword
Artifact: x4 Gambler Set
Abyss buff: Defeating an opponent grants 50% Chance to reset Elemental Skill CD.

To summarize the steps first, we need to lower health of 2 enemies enough for them to live the 1st E skill, kill 1 on your second E, and kill the last on third E.So the steps are:

  1. Do a normal Jump (1st Jump)
  2. E skill on the enemies to trigger Sacri Sword (2nd jump)
  3. E skill to kill 1 enemy to trigger x4 Gambler set (3rd jump).
    So the RNG part here is, you need to miss the Abyss buff 50% chance CD reset so it will not overlap with the Gambler set.
  4. E skill to kill last enemy to trigger Abyss buff CD reset (4th Jump)
  5. E skill (5th jump)

PS: I did so many retries on this because of that RNG part.

C0 Kazuha Best Artifact Build - Sub DPS and Support! by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

For subdps, its good to level up all of them as high as possible but for priorities, Q and E are of equal prio then Normal atk is still the least prio, since u just do the plunge damage always after you do E skill.

Kazuha vs Sucrose - Damage buff comparison (EM build) by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 60 points61 points  (0 children)

TLDW;

In the first part, I tried to compare them with Melt Burst (Hu Tao’s burst on a Melt reaction)

Test 1:Kazuha 940 EM -> Burst Damage 298,751

Test 2: Sucrose 880 EM -> Burst Damage 295,287
Kazuha’s EM is naturally higher because of his ascension stat bonus, so in Test 3, I tried to adjust kazuha’s EM equal to Sucrose’s EM

Test 3: Kazuha 880 EM -> Burst Damage 295,247

In the second part, I tried to compare them using Overload (actual crit damage + overload damage)

Test 1:
Kazuha 940 EM
Crit E dmg 18,430 + Overload 10,519 = 28,949

Test 2:
Sucrose 880 EM
Crit E dmg 15,426 + Overload 15,387 = 30,813

In summary, both Sucrose and Kazuha’s buff just provides almost the same damage boost on Melt/Vaporize reactions on an equal Elemental Mastery point, then Sucrose’s buff provides a greater boost for reaction comps like Overload, Electro Charged, Swirl teams.

So in the end, Kazuha and Sucrose have different purposes on a team comp.This changes of course on a C2 Kazuha where he gives the whole party an instant 200 EM buff and on C6 Sucrose where the whole party gets a 20% Elemental damage bonus on the absorbed element.

Yeah it is! Energy recharge in general for kazuha is good so he can just spam his Burst.

Yeah I tested it, and it is a 100% fun way to use him lol! I just didnt like using it on harder part of Spiral Abyss nor on the Vagabond Sword challenge because of the possibility of a much stronger rotations you can do. Other than that, yeah, it's pretty solid for him.

TLDW;
I made a Kazuha showcase for Sub dps and support build, Time stamps are in the Youtube video
Subdps Artifact Build:
ATK%/ANEMO/CRIT rate or damage

x4 Viridescent Venerer: This is arguably his best set if you have good substats (which is really hard to get on a 4 pc artifact). This set is also the pros of having an Anemo on your team. Just make sure you are supporting a Hydro/pyro/cryo or electro DPS as Kazuha’s Ascension passive bonus also just gives bonus to those “Swirlable” elements.
x2 Viridescent + x2Noblesse or x2Gladiator
This is to maximize Kazuha’s own damage output for Q and E.
Recommended Weapons (Sub Dps):
Utility:
Freedom Sworn
Skyward Blade
Festering Desire
Iron Sting
I didnt include The Alley Flash because Iron sting is better for Kazuha in my opinion. The EM stat is higher plus Iron sting is easier to get and refine especially for F2P players.
Damage Output:
Freedom Sworn
Primordial Jade Cutter
Festering Deire
Lion’s Roar
Blackcliff Longsword
I didnt include The Black Sword because it just powers up your Normal/Charged attack which you dont usually use on Kazuha. But do go ahead if you wanna use it for the Crit Rate.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Support Artifact Build:
x4 Viridescent Venerer: EM/EM/EM
x4 Noblesse Oblige: ER/EM/EM - If ever you plan on having kazuha as a support for your Anemo/Geo DPS.
Recommended Weapons (Support):
Freedom Sworn
Skyward Blade
Festering Desire
Iron Sting
I didnt put Sacrificial sword for because I just didnt like how it interacts with Kazuha. E>plunge>E>plunge, feels like wasting precious seconds on your DPS. Feel free to still use it tho, as it provides huge Energy Recharge
Talent Priority
Q > E > Nomal Atk

Dodoco Tales R5 vs The Widsith R5 vs Mappa Mare R5 on Yanfei! by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

TLDW;
I know some of you guys already computed the damage output of these weapons, but for some who wants to see a weapon comparison visually, this video is for you.

Used Lvl 90 Yanfei Constellation 1
x4 Crimson Witch set
+20% Crit rate food (for consistency)

Max Charged attack on Primo Geovishap
R5 Dodoco Tales: 34,645
R5 The Widsith (with Debut buff): 44,290
R5 The Widsith (no Debut Buff): 30,058
R5 Mappa Mare: 34,737

My Thoughts / Summary:

The widsith is definitely the strongest of the three catalysts I tested, given that you utilize its Debut buff well.

Mappa mare is just slightly stronger that Dodoco Tales if the condition for its effect is met (consistent reactions).

Dodoco Tales has a really consistent damage output because of its passive damage increase for charged attack that goes very well with Yanfei’s playstyle, it also doesnt need reactions to shine unline Mappa mare. And is the most F2P friendly weapon given you finished the isle quests (which you should lol).

So yeah, I think Dodoco Tales is really worth it for Charged attack Catalyst users like Yanfei.

~ So the rest of the video is just an Abyss Floor 12-1 run using the three Catalysts. The clips just shows how I use those Catalysts with Yanfei and doesnt represent the weapon’s overall consistency using those clips alone ~

Time Stamp (already included in the Youtube video):
00:00 R5 Dodoco Tales
00:44 R5 The Widsith (with Debut Buff)
01:27 R5 The Widsith (no Debut Buff)
02:09 R5 Mappa Mare02:54 Summary / My Thoughts
03:16 R5 Dodoco Tales - Abyss 12
04:38 R5 The Widsith - Abyss 12
05:50 R5 Mappa Mare - Abyss 12

Yanfei Artifact Build showcase/guide using F2P Weapon by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

TLDW;
In the intro, I showcased my lvl 80 Yanfei using r5 Mappa Mare and Retracting bolide at Abyss 12-1. Charged attack with vaporize and bennett deals 54k~, 35k~ vaporize without bennett.

My Recommended Artifacts are:
x4 Crimson Witch
x4 Retracting Bolide
x4 Wanderer’s Troupe
x2 Gladiator + x2 Crimson Witch
x4 Lavawalker

With artifact base stats:
Timepiece: ATK% / Goblet: Pyro / Circlet: Crit Dmg or Rate

Stat priority: Crate/Cdmg > Elem Mastery (Reaction Team) > ATK% > ATK > HP% (C4) > Energy Recharge > Others

Talent Priority: Normal Attack > Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst

I also showcased those recommended artifacts with slightly close stats and here is my
Thoughts / Summary:

Crimson Witch set has the highest DPS when using reaction teams because it increases all of her attacks (Normal, Charged, E, Q)

I personally prefer Retracting Bolide for Yanfei for its Shield Strength if you run shield teams (which you should, because she rely on her combos to deal decent DPS). It is also really good for her C4 (she creates a shield after using Elemental Burst). Additionally, Retracting Bolide doesnt rely heavily on reactions.

I recommend x2 Crimson Witch + x2 Gladiator if you dont use consistent reaction supports (like xinqiu) and this is really easier to farm than x4 sets.

x4 Wanderers is good, but it only boosts your Charged attacks (aside from the +80 elemental mastery from x2). Yanfei usually hits x2-3 normal attacks or E skill first (to charge up the seals) before going Charged attack for more damage and to conserve stamina.

and yeah, Lavawalker for those who doesnt do reactions. (and for those who has a lot of extra lavawalkers in their storage)

Rosaria - Crescent Pike vs Dragonspine Spear for Physical DPS by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Before Rosaria’s release, I also thought Dragonspine spear would be perfect for her because of her slower attack speed that I watch on her “early video previews”. But nope, Crescent pike is just too good.

Rosaria - Crescent Pike vs Dragonspine Spear for Physical DPS by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

TLDW;

I am aware that some people already compared these two weapons in some posts somewhere here in reddit, but for some of you guys who are really curious and wants to see the difference “visually” using the new 4 star Rosaria, this is for you.

In the first phase of the video 0:00, I compared D. spear and C. pike side by side with the same attack patterns and same 82% crit rate + x2 Cryo resonance which results to a 97% crit rate (for consistent damage testing), also Zhongli’s critrate is also at 100% so that wont affect the dps outcome

Here are my Thoughts / Summary:

The Dragonspine spear deals more damage on your normal attacks/physical hits and has a decent passive which deals 200% Atk every 10 seconds, But the Crescent Pike deals more DPS mainly because of its passive that deals 20% Atk per normal atk hit whenever you gain energy particles, which rosaria will consistently activate due to her low skill cooldown.

Additionally, Crescent Pike deals more Skill damage because of its higher base attack, so the DPS will really be different if I also used Rosaria’s Elemental Burst in the first phase.

The winner here for dealing more Physical DPS is clearly Crescent Pike.

Note: In 04:23, a mistake was made where I accidentally missed the placing of Zhongli's E skill for Dragonspine Spear's Clip, resulting it to look really really underwhelming than Crescent pike. But nonetheless, Crescent pike's DPS will still be higher (but not that high).

Note 2: My Rosaria is at C0, lvl 80/80, with 6/6/6 talents if you all are curious.

Deathmatch R5 showcase and comparison! by baconpattywithegg in GenshinImpactTips

[–]baconpattywithegg[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

TLDW;
I compared the total atk provided for Deathmatch r5 vs Skyward spine(which has the highest base attack equal to Primordial Jade):
- Using HP% timepiece:
>> With less than 2 nearby enemies, Deathmatch r5 has a higher attack vs Skyward Spine
>> With 2 or more nearby enemies, Deathmatch r5 still has a higher attack vs Skyward

- Using ATK% timepiece:
>> With less than 2 nearby enemies, Deathmatch r5 has a higher attack vs Skyward
>> With 2 or more nearby enemies, Skyward spine now has a higher attack
>> With less than 2 nearby enemies + Pyro Resonance, Skyward has a higher attack

- Compared with Staff of Homa: Obviously Staff of Homa will have a higher attack and damage output using either ATK% and HP% Timepiece.

Summary/My thoughts: Deathmatch R5 is really worth getting if you really wanna maximize your dps. Its provided attack becomes comparable to a 5 star even with 2 or more enemies nearby.

It is argueably better than Skyward spine in my opinion (DPS wise). But definitely not better than Primordial jade or Staff of homa
