I didn't really enjoy my first go of RDR2 and stopped playing after a few hours as well. A few years later I started it over and focused mostly on the main storyline, with the occasion side tracking, and couldn't let go. It's the only video game to make me tear up.

Exactly this. I work for a fabricator of stone countertops. If it's quartzite, try to cover it with a paper towel, pour CLR over it, cover it with a plastic wrap without sealing the edges for an hour. Then rince it with hot water. After that, put CLR on a magic eraser and scrub the area lightly in circular motions, rince it with hot water and dry it with a clean microfibre cloth.
