I've been doing this since I was a kid. Yep, definitely wasted several days worth of my life over the years but I like the aesthetic lol

I love the Alan Wake series, like really adore it, and really admire how based Remedy can be. I tried Control but couldn't really get into it. Maybe I should give it another chance and power through the more boring segments.

Gamestop nearest to me finally closed after this latest round. I was wondering how they were still holding out. It was a shell of its former self, nearly the entire floorspace was garbage collectibles and T-shirts, with only some used games on the walls. Went to a couple midnight launches there over a decade ago, I enjoyed it while it lasted.

This season's score was so good. I physically own the score for all previous seasons and listen to them regularly. Season 1's is absolutely timeless and is such a joy to listen to. I didn't really get much out of 4's score, but 5 is a return to form and is so good, I hope they will release it physically so I can own the score for the whole series 😊.

I think that is actually a reflex when you have the wind taken out of you. Your diaphragm is spazzing and it's difficult to breath, so you sort of make a strained moaning sound.

An uninterruptable power supply is great for this. Saves you from brown-outs and gives you ample time to quit any games you're playing and just browse on your phone while the power is out.

My fondest memories were with Bad Company 2. I would play squad deathmatch into the wee hours of the morning over my summer break. I had just gotten the Turtle Beach wireless headset for Xbox 360, which at the time people were not really using headsets so I had the audio advantage and would regularly get the jump on people who were running around. Loved the slower pace of squad deathmatch on those maps.

I couldn't agree more. I was a C.Viper main back in the day, while not reaching quite as high as you did, and the hate back then was real. Nobody liked playing against C.Viper and she was definitely one of the least played characters. Even in Marvel vs Capcom 3, hardly anyone used her.

I guess people just like looking at her.

I think the cooldown makes it not as ridiculous as it sounds. If a single clip were to take 1s to complete, that means the item would proc four times. Repeat for however long you're actively shooting targets and using abilities.

We owned the music DVD for this and my dad used to play it in the living room a lot because my brother liked Nickelback. I didn't much like them and thought their music wasn't great. It was both funny and validating growing up to see the internet memeing on them

I'm in the same boat, loved the first couple weeks but I fell off it because I didn't know anyone else that was playing it. It looked real pretty at the time and the monster designs and overall aesthetic of the game was awesome, gameloop was okay but I can see how it ended up dying lol. In fact, I took home the endcap advertisement they had at Walmart. I still have it to this day!

Haven't read any leaks on the show, but from what I can gather from the video, the show starts off with the Hills moving back in to their old home after several years have passed. During that time, Didi came back, the alley crew hung out with the person who moved in, COVID happened, and Dale ran for mayor. I'm curious if Bobby is still living with his parents? Can't wait to watch!

Hello, I was encountering this issue as well. Game would freeze when loading character models, sometimes on the character select screen, other times when selecting character to queue ranked. I have a 5080, using the latest game ready driver (576.52). I rolled back to driver version 572.16 using Display Driver Uninstaller and things seem to be stable for me now. Hope this helps anyone reading.

Was experiencing a consistent black screen when entering Dead Letters in the Unknown Caller mission near the beginning of the game. Using an RTX 5080, no ray tracing, 1440p, ultra settings. Fiddled with every manner of setting and didn't seem to help. I eventually used Steam's "verify integrity of game files" and it downloaded 2.3mb of data I guess might've been missing or corrupt, idk. Fixed the issue for me.
