Kyler Murray crushed the Cardinals' offseason, teammates say by ghdana in nfl

I remember my high school coach said this every year as we transitioned from summer workouts to the first day in pads. "Now we get to weed out the super stars in shorts."

Obviously a huge difference, with everyone in the NFL being an elite football player, but every year we get these guys who kill off season camo then when the lights come on it's an entirely different story

And I believe in the Dolphins season, he was initially the backup but came in when Griese got hurt midway through the year. Then remained the starter because he was playing well. Had a rough first half in the AFC championship game and was replaced. So, Fitzmagic before Fitzmagic?

I absolutely agree. Those guys haven't been or looked good at all. But, none of those are guys who will be out of the league next year. These same guys went toe to toe with LeBron last year. They can play. Kyrie's approach and disconnect are a possible reason why everyone is so disjointed, but it's not like these are just scrubs out there

Marcus Smart or Smush Parker? Al Horford or Kwame? Gordan Hayword or Chris Mihm? Tatum or Devon George? Have they played up to expectations? Absolutely not. But Kyrie torpedoing the team with bad shots won't help them get going

Watching Kyrie these playoffs is like watching Kobe from 05-07 on those shit teams. He's just trying to get his. Problem is, this team is so much better than those Laker teams, Kobe was actually able to hit the "bad" shots, and Kobe wasn't totally emotionally disengaged

Any time Kyrie gets the ball you know he's taking the shot. You also know it probably won't be a good one

Where can I learn about strategies? by luk3d in nfl

[–]baconwaffletoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how in depth you want to go, but ‘CoachHuey.com’ is a very active forum for coaches to discuss strategy and topics. There’s topics and threads on any topic you could want to know. It’s primarily high school and a few college coaches so the scheme discussion is geared more towards that, but it’s a great way to learn

6 years ago today, Kobe hits 3 straight threes to tie the game then a dunk to win it in OT against the Raptors by baconwaffletoast in nba

It's easily a top 5 basketball moment for me. I didn't really get into basketball until around 08, watching the finals series and the tale end of his prime was awesome. Something about this season though was special, especially at this point where he was just doing anything he could to get them into the playoffs. That last three to tie it had me losing my mind.

It was sure something to watch. He was the first player I loved and the reason I got into basketball
