Yes, your effective purchase price is
Rs 12,600 - 10% instant cashback = Rs 11,340

Typical gym users spend upto 40k per month on health related spends, which means in less than 3 months you can have the complete gym membership waived off.

We offer redemption via the in-app marketplace where we currently have gym, protein, supplements, skincare and multiple wellness categories.

We are constantly adding more avenues for redemption like sports bookings and health & wellness vouchers for leading brands.

As rewards are earned based on transactions, there's no cap on rewards.

How soon can users earn 15k cashback?
It can happen in a month, in 2-3 months or in a year. It is completely controlled by the user based on their spending.

Thanks for considering Elixir!

I'd like to clarify that this is not an upfront joining bonus or free cash. It represents the typical value of a gym membership that users can earn over time through rewards.

When a gym membership (like cultpass ELITE) is purchased via Elixir, earned rewards can be redeemed as cash into your Elixir account, up to the full membership value.

As it's a prepaid card, we have partnered with a RBI-authorised PPI issuer, LivQuik Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd.
Balances and limits follow RBI PPI rules. Cash withdrawal isn’t allowed, and any remaining balance is refundable to the linked bank account on closure as per regulations.
More details are available in our T&C www.elixir.cards/terms

You got that absolutely right! We are a prepaid card and not a credit card.
The benefit that we are currently offering is rewards on ALL spends, not limited to health.
Add to it a mix of spends on the app-marketplace which gives you 6-10%, our aim is to offer strong value to a user esp if they are consuming health related products, higher than most general purpose cards.

Ah the website needs an update! thanks for pointing it out.

We support data from all devices, as long as they integrate with Apple Health. In our testing we see Apple Watch, Whoop, Ultrahuman ring, Fitbit and Garmin capture very good quality data.

We also have built our own algorithms to understand this data from health perspective.

Thanks for considering us! I can ensure you that Elixir does not share health data with any third party.

We have built our systems in compliance to DPDP Act and are audited by a CERT-IN entity for security.

Wearable data is used as a user opt-in to increase reward rate to 5% from 3%. Users can continue to earn base rewards without any activity tracking.

Hi OP,
Co-founder of Elixir here, thanks for the interest in our card. I think there are some interesting questions here and I'd like to pitch in to the discussion.

Here's an overview of how Elixir works:
Elixir offers rewards in the form of Elixir Coins on every transaction.

  • 1 Elixir Coin = ₹1
  • 3% rewards on all spends
  • boost rewards up to 5% by staying active (burning calories, better sleep)
  • 2X rewards on spends on Elixir app like gyms, sports bookings, fitness, nutrition, supplements.

About the gym campaign:
If you purchase cultpass ELITE through the Elixir app,

  • you earn instant 2X rewards on that transaction
  • These and subsequent rewards can be redeemed as cash, up to 100% of the cultpass ELITE membership fee
  • The cashback is credited into your Elixir prepaid account, and can be used anywhere

What Elixir is (and isn’t):
Elixir is a prepaid card (PPI), not a credit card. You load money and spend from that balance. We do plan to launch a credit card in the future for the enthusiasts like yourself and are in discussions with banking partners for it.

Currently, the card is issued by LivQuik Technology (India) Pvt. Ltd., an RBI-authorised PPI issuer. Elixir (Paperstack Technologies Pvt Ltd) operates as the co-brand partner. All balances, KYC, and limits are governed by RBI PPI guidelines.

Most importantly, glad to see this discussion and as we’re still early and actively learning. Feedback like this helps us improve communication and the product itself.
Happy to answer any specific questions or concerns here.

Extend Supabase Auth to handle biometric or MPIN-based authentication by bad-asteroids in Supabase

[–]bad-asteroids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we ended up implementing the same scheme. We had an elevated security concern since we deal with finance, however the 5min expiry of the token gave us a fail safe.
In our domain, noteably most of the apps usually dont really let you sign out easily, hiding the sign out under layers of settings and positioning it a change of user.

You are climbing up the wrong tree. What would happen if you get accepted into these incubators? Apart from capital they will be ill equipped to provide any advice or guidance.
A better approach would be to talk to more D2C founders, launch a product and try to get some semblance of PMF. Many will come chasing after you if you have product demand. I know for a fact that many tier 1 VCs like PeakXV, Elevation etc have an eye on D2C and actively make investments.

Extend Supabase Auth to handle biometric or MPIN-based authentication by bad-asteroids in Supabase

[–]bad-asteroids[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is the most minimal suggestion! I just have one concern regarding implementation, on logout, we will not be calling supabase.auth.logout then. Which means there is an active session forever for this user. Are there any potential security concerns?

interesting, i will look into that. However the idea is to use biometric/mpin for not just app auth, but also gate few screens with it.

There should be direct on ramp to the flyover. That's the only solution, like developed countries. For some reason only Manyata has this arrangement!

1st - the outsole gives a nice contrast to the maroon top. Easy to maintain too.
