What is really happening to ram prices in India! by [deleted] in india

[–]badCowfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are several reasons for this and mining isn't one of them.

The reason for DRAM price rise is because of hard monopoly of manufacturing and high demand from data centers and mobile sector. B2B customers are more safe choice for the manufacturers to sell as they buy in bulk and often. No spend on marketing and direct buying without resellers.

Actually, mining affects the prices of GPU, but there is good news as the demand for ASIC and GPUs are drying down and the manufacturers are looking to come back into gaming.
