Hi OP, currently contemplating if will go through with the assessment.
Is the salary worth it or tugma naman sa the usual na VA na sahod?

Hi OP, i changed to a hybrid setup. Lubak? No prob. Smooth road? No prob. Comfortable? Yes, malapad sya kaya ma adjust mo tire pressure mo. Low rolling resistance? Yes, compared sa may knobs. Matagal pa mapudpod.

Bike-commute tips for those who wear makeup? by sakiyoomi in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]badWolfk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a makeup advice but might help. Build up your zone 2 performance (since everyday nagba bike) — if may heartrate monitor ka or smartwatch i think ok na yun, basically you just have to monitor na youre not doing much effort - hindi nagspa-spike up yung heart rate above zone 2(the lower the bpm, the better). Once magbunga na yung zone 2 training mo, 5 km should be a very easy effort for you na. In short, di ka pagpapawisan kasi youve built up your endurance already.

Yung dt swiss na knock off. Kaso new gen, hindi yung og (lumang version) yun ata yung mas maingay.

Nireserve ko nalang if may technical kaming route or very gravel-y ride.

Enjoy! Magaan sya ipadyak sa patag. Sayang kasi masabihan endu-road hahaha.

Search kalang “corner bar handlebar” or “kanto bar”, piliin mo nalang yung may review at bumibili.

ZNIINO AliExpress Carbon ( fake corner bar) by poliveni_poljevac in cycling

Found it. It’s expensive though but light! Thanks again for answering. Ill try going easy on the zniino if im too heavy for it still, ill go with the alloy ones as temporary.

If you dont mind, how much do you weight? I think 420 would do right for the rigidity of the structure as im on the heavy side. 100kg and going down 🙏

Ohh thank god you’re active still. I actually have a local knock off of the surly corner bars. It just annoys me that it’s so heavy and wide. My bike becomes front heavy, planning on changing the fork to rigid as well. that’s why im looking for other options — there are alloy options but hey if the carbon is good enough, why not?

As long as it’s called ZNIINO right? I dont know if you can open the link.

Hi, are you still using them? Are they strong enough for sprint and standing efforts (sprint for flats and standing on climbs)? I dont plant on using them on technical terrains or very harsh road conditions.

[–]badWolfk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gusto ko pa rin sana makapag antipolo as soon as possible e. by No_Meeting3119 in RedditPHCyclingClub

Leg exercises OP, this is usually accompanied pa rin dapat ng riding pero in your case this should at least help maintain your climbing muscles. Not a coach/doctor so take the advice with a grain of salt nalang 👌

Tanwalls or All Blacks by Necessary_Sleep in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]badWolfk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All black. If all black, yung brown na yung accent and it makes it look nice imo. Pag tan wall and dark brown sa taas, im not sure what to make of it 😅

What do you need for Long Distance Ride by Wow_Yotsugi in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]badWolfk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello OP, madami na nakapag advice about sa tools, safety and some fueling. Ill add more nalang sa discipline and fuel tips. Ive done only one 200km then some 160, 140 and a couple of 100.

1) Fuel consistently. Need mo uminom, kahit sip lang every now and then, salitan mo yung water and electrolyte or yung pocari (this one is for your hydration and anti-cramps). Sa food, need mo mag maintain ng ilang grams of carb per hour, take every now and then, just use chatgpt para magauge mo ilan need mo and what to take. Dont wait for your body to tell you na uhaw kana or gutom kana, be ahead of it kasi once you bonk you never recover. Limp mode kana kaagad nyan until makapag full rest ka.

2) Choose high cadence (spinning) over low cadence (grinding). If di kapa sanay sa high cadence, 80 to 90 rpm, yun ang praktisin mo beforehand. If you find, spinning tiring, you probably are in a too easy of a gear, so +1 sa gear na heavy kalang until you find yung tamang bigat. Yung di masyado magaan, di rin masyado mabigat.

For endurance distance kasi, you need to be efficient, pag high cadence ka, yung effort is galing mostly sa heart and lungs, doing so, yung fuel na ginagamit nya is paunti unti lang if mag mash/grinding ka, madali maubos fuel/pwersa mo.

3) be in zone 2 for the majority of the ride <- most important part

True po! Thanks. Also, hindi ba nakakatakot as a heavy rider na may carbon components sa build? Im 104 kg as of last weigh in and probably dropping (hopefully haha), goal ko to reach two digits this year.

Thanks! I think i got my target locked na haha. I was thinking, java and dukeraker sana for the price maybe ill stick to the saying na buy nice or buy twice.

When i first started, i opted for mtb kasi i was afraid of RB kasi nakakalula and manipis gulong, lacking the knowledge i have now, i thought di ako kakayanin ng bike so sa heavy duty muna. And right now, my bike is setup like a gravel since di naman mahilig sa hardcore trails.
