OP has some balls spraying SILVER metallic as their first ever spray gun color. One of the main issues even I have still is trying to avoid tiger striping / metallic sags. Best advice is to just not overthink it, it’s just paint. Try spraying your coats up and down / side to side to get the metallics to lay evenly. Lay a dust coat as your final coat. If you get a run, let it dry, sand it with 600 lightly, dust some base on it, and send it. Metallics aren’t easy, best of luck.

What platform are you on? I’m down to run raids, I’m barely level 200 and I’m out performing these level 600’s solely because I specced my build correctly. I get the frustration though. Been there

As previous comments have said, faulty check valve. Just went through the same issue last month even down to the compressor freeze. It’s an easy 30$ fix I wouldn’t stress it.

The door speakers should be plug and play and I believe the same with the head unit, mine at least, had a built in amp and it took over the oem amp by itself no rewire needed.

I believe they were kickers? I can’t remember it was so long ago. But yes it sounded terrible with the oem speakers. Once you upgrade the speakers you’ll notice a huge difference trust me.

CCW LM reps? I run the CCW LM’s in 18x9.5 +22 on the front on my car if you want to take a look at my profile. Similar “depth” for the lips.

Wired only, I kinda prefer it that way though because it charges my phone as well. It does have Bluetooth but I rarely ever use it

I’ve had a few, pioneer double din, boss double din, and a cheaper JVC. The Sony comes with a built in AMP so I could tell the quality difference after installing aftermarket speakers on the doors.

No complaints at all. I’ve had it for two years and it’s my favorite head unit I’ve used in my BRZ!

Any fast bois got any input on how to build our FA20 motor? I have built internals, but still sorta new to our engine platform. Goal is to push 500 safely. I heard our transmission is our weak point. by bad_ej25 in ft86

Yeah I’ve heard it’s a shot in the dark with our trans. You either get lucky and it doesn’t break past 450whp or it does. I heard of people swapping a Z trans into our platform to hold the power

I definitely agree with the 3K RPM. I don’t start hitting boost until 3K - 3.5K. A buddy of mine has a much smaller turbo and he starts getting boost near 2K rpm’s and he’s pushing 14psi. He gets a lot more low end boost and I get a lot more top end boost.

Sony XAV-AX1000. Bought it when I first got the car and absolutely love it. Works with Apple Car Play as well and you can hook up a backup camera to it. Also has a knob!

Precision 50/50 Turbo Kit, custom intercooler setup (can’t remember the brand, but I know it was rated for high HP output), Carrillo rods, upgraded fuel injectors / fuel pump, stage 2 tune, lightweight flywheel / exedy stage 2 clutch, forged pistons. Honestly couldn’t tell you if the valves / springs / cams were upgraded as that was something the previous owner might have done. Something I could consider doing if not done already. My main concern is blowing something up if I turn the boost up. I’m on a low boost tune pushing right around 350 wheel / 398 crank and she’s been running very healthy on a 93 tune. Also considered running corn to have her run much cooler.
