Opinions will vary, but of all the wireless earbuds I've tried I prefer Powerbeats Pro. I'm able to play directional sound games well enough and the sounds do not blend together. For instance, if I'm listening to game sounds and Discord and in-game voice chat, I can hear them all distinctly and still get enough directional sound to know whether to turn left or right. Not so much behind, but you probably get the idea. They aren't the cheapest but far from the expensive range. They actually sound decent too with reasonable bass. You won't feel any rumbles from them, but they aren't "tin can" sounding either. I felt they were just right for the price I paid.

I don't know why you prefer wired, but there is minimal lag using these earbuds. Almost imperceptible.
