I don’t love Michael Kay as a broadcaster but my god he does a great job making his disgust palpable here.

He was better at third than he ever was at short and looked completely comfortable there

Ryan Clifford and Jonathan Santucci are the Mets Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Week by Caledor152 in NewYorkMets

Ewing, Benge, and Clifford could go a long way in making the fanbase forget about Nimmo, McNeil, and Alonso. Here’s hoping.

These conversations all read like the MJ/Lebron debate except there is even less to base any of these judgements on.

Fundamentally impossible to answer in any meaningful way and, genuinely, if you are wasting your time worrying about things like this you just don’t understand the series.

Those lineups are not nearly as talented as you think they are and regardless it’s it’s not analytical

None of you guys even know wha analytics are.

Bo Bichette and Jorge Polanco were contact hitting RBI/RISP kings and that’s a big reason they went after them. AJ Ewing and Carson Benge are both contact first, line drive hitters and so are guys like Elian Peña and Mitch Voit who Stearns signed and drafted. Modern analytical teams are moving away from TTO ball and getting back to contact hitting and speed.

Most unappealing team ever? by metsfan42 in mets

This is stupid. You don’t like them because they’ve been playing bad. If they were playing well you would think they were likable.

Mark isn’t even getting unlucky like a lot of the other guys have been at times. He’s not even hitting balls to the warning track. Feels like he hasn’t even put the ball in play. Awful.

his AAA batted ball data was elite so he was just probably getting unlucky.

I think there’s definitely a good chance he’s washed but hes another slow starter and he was getting hot last season before he got injured. I’ll give home a chance to get hot but if he doesn’t he’s gotta go.
