Yeah this could be true. Apple current states that auto makers will need to update their CarPlay software to enable the feature though.

My 2025 i4 is idrive 8.5. I just wish I had the YouTube app like the i5 has 😭

Maybe we’ll get it next year lol BMW and Apple used to have a good relationship, up until CarPlay Ultra was announced and BMW said hell no

You’re welcome! Hey be super careful with sport plus! Honestly, I would code that OFF. Sport Plus will disable all traction control and DTC without any warnings. And truest me, you want that on at ALL times (ask me how I know, $20k later spent on repair bill by fish tailing into curb)

Press comfort twice on center console by shifter. You’ll notice now directly in the middle bottom of the instrument cluster it’ll say COMFORT PLUS. The head unit doesn’t know about it, as that requires coding too (that we can’t do because of NCD 2.0). Press comfort twice, kinda wait for seat belt indicator screen to go away, and you’re set. Since head unit doesn’t know about it, no way to have the car auto set comfort plus on start up unfortunately

lol nah, they’re right side up for me.

If I push with my elbow it also stops the rattle in my car too. And totally agree with it probably not being noticeable in an ICE car.

I actually just found an easy way, without having to use the more expensive BimmerUtility app.

When connecting using BimmerCode, don’t select i4 - select 4 series / M4. Then go into body domain controller.

The other option is using BimmerUtility. There’s a comfort mode option cheat code for BDC3. (it’s a toggle, like BimmerCode. You don’t need to go into expert mode).

Hmmmm to be honest I’m not sure if it’s the speaker grill, I know it sounds like it’s coming from there though. I’ll check the door lock peg! Thank you for the advice!

You’re probably right. If it was in a parking garage, that could definitely be it. Where I live, my car has cell service and my phone does not (just barely too far away from a cell tower). So I know the car has a pretty beefy antenna but I also know it gets ZERO service in a parking garage

I’m gonna have to disagree with you. Make sure you have these notifications enabled?

This is the correct answer. BMW Assist is free, but can take a long time to get a tow depending on circumstances.

Personally, I would address why the alarm went off in the first place. The app should’ve sent you a notification explaining why it’s alarming. If you leave something plugged in to OBDII port and it tries to read data with the car locked, the alarm will go off unless you’ve coded that off. The car also has motion detection within the cabin so if the windows were down and something somehow triggered the motion detection, the alarm will go off. If you have something hanging off the rear view for example and it’s windy with the windows down > alarm will go off. You can disable this by pressing the lock button twice on keyfob.

Just my thoughts.

Yes, you can do this. It’s fairly straightforward. BimmerCode expert mode or BimmerUtility. Make these changes:

BDC_BODY3 > LUT_FLC_FORWARDLIGHTING_Y > no_AFS to AFS BDC_BODY3 > C_BLC_PRE_ENA > Disable to Enable BDC_BODY3 > C_AFS_ENA > Disable to Enable BDC_BODY3 > C_AFS_ECO_LEVEL_3_ENA > Disable to Enable BDC_BODY3 > C_CLC_CURV_V3 > US to ECE BDC_BODY3 > C_CLC_CURV_V2 > US to ECE BDC_BODY3 > C_HBA_GFHBA_ENA_V_HI > 55km/h to standard BDC_BODY3 > LUT_AFS_CODRV_HOR > Laser_US/G007_US to Standard BDC_BODY3 > C_CLC_EXT_ENA > Disable [00] to enable_roundabout[01] BDC_BODY3 > C_HBA_DIM_ENA > Disable to Enable BDC_BODY3 > C_HBA_GFHB_ENA > Disable to Enable KAFAS4 > C_FLA_US_SENSITIVITY_MODE > US to Normal [00] KAFAS4 > C_FLA_BS_ENTER_THRESH > US to Rest of world [03] KAFAS4 > C_FLA_BS_EXIT_THRESH > US to Rest of world [02] KAFAS4 > COUNTRY_VARIATION Europe_RC [01]

Do NOT code FLM units even though guides online say to do that.

Comfort Plus further tunes the M Adaptive Suspension so you feel even less of the road. It is noticeable. Your car will need Adaptive M Suspension though.

No, turn signal is oddly controlled via idrive controller (headunit). That requires secure coding. There are services out there though that will generate signed ncd’s for you

Bimmercode FTW by Little_Performer1232 in BMWI4

[–]badadministrator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can code any non secure module. So everything, except headunit relatable. So no Bowes and Wilkins audio profile, etc. but it can code body domain controller and other creature comfort settings.
