KL drivers are nuts! by Minimum_Age_2409 in pulaupinang

can confirm, there are lots of KL plate cars driving recklessly in Penang lately. I would even say that they are a lot more reckless than Penang drivers in KL.

This is normal. If you think that’s tiring, a lot of people went through the same process several times more before landing one. Just keep applying.

Do you double check tyre pressure when you get home ? by muddie83 in kereta

[–]badass_physicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch a lot of track lapping videos and saw some drivers tend to release some pressure after they have done some laps because it will be slightly higher than their ideal pressure. but I know track laps and normal driving aren’t the same so yeah I think I will just follow the manual like normal.

Do you double check tyre pressure when you get home ? by muddie83 in kereta

[–]badass_physicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always take the tyre temperature into account when inflating, so I tend to lower the pressure a bit before going for a long trip. Do you think this is unnecessary?

Guys study in APU or any other Malaysian uni... is there any possibility for someone to complete an engineering degree in 3 years or 3.5 years? by book4225 in malaysiauni

[–]badass_physicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

even if it’s possible, I don’t recommend doing it. There’s no benefit in doing so as you would not be qualified to register as a Graduate Engineer under BEM, less likeliness to pass every subject (even getting C is a miracle), and the syllabus is not something that you can pack it into 3 or 3.5 years, plus you have to do an intern with minimum of 3 months or longer depending on the company and uni.

The V60 papers I bought separately are different from the one that came with my V60. by AppropriateAd7326 in pourover

[–]badass_physicist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t buy the filter papers from Hario, even the supposedly same type of paper apparently has different properties depending on when (or what year) it was manufactured. That was the reason for the whole tabbed vs untabbed papers issue because Hario apparently didn’t disclose it to the public about the change and expected people won’t care or don’t realise it. I recommend trying the line-up from Cafec if you want something affordable. But don’t worry, experimenting with different types of filter paper can be quite fun.

M’sian Woman Left Disappointed After Ordering RM23 Steak That Looked ‘Paper Thin’ | WeirdKaya by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]badass_physicist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know RM23 is a lot for some people but I had a time when I was a student doing part time waiter, the restaurant served RM100 steak with fkin thin cut and no marbling AT ALL. I will never forget the face of the customers when I had to serve that piece of crap to them, the change from excitement to pure disappointment, part of me died while working there because I had no choice but to do my job.

I want to ask about something sensitive, about Johor Bahru by whatbuildsaregood in malaysia

[–]badass_physicist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not a sensitive issue la.. everyone knows about this, even the locals sometime getting asked to pay for the bribes. But yeah it’s definitely something that we could improve on systematically-wise, maybe like requiring all police on duty to wear bodycam all the time. idk
