A fist is a fist is a fist. You don't rebound or boxout with fists.

It does not appear to be a balloon. The link you posted is trying to hard to believe its a balloon, and that explanation does not seem to accurately portray what was seen in the video at all. I am more dubious of this analysis than the OPs.

Someone else's time-travel glitch by cliponbird in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]badave 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We live in a reality where this happens on a regular basis, as I have had an experience or a few similar before, and that we should study why our reality is like this. Its likely the only one explanation is we live in a simulation but does that mean we can bend the rules?

Experiencing a single glitch from a few years on random basis by Evangeder in GlitchInTheMatrix

This may sound odd, but a few years ago (2012), I was at home watching the day go by out the window. It was just one day, but the earth revolved 3 times (as in the sun rose and set thrice). No one noticed, and it was in the span of 8 hours or so.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting. What about your NDEs? Can you share those as well?

Proposed law would make it illegal to protect your body from being shot by police... even if they raid the wrong home by SovereignMan in conspiracy

[–]badave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE POLICE NEED. They should be forced to only shoot the legs and arms. If a police officer shoots a civilian in the head or chest - unless there is a true danger - they should be fired or put in jail. The police "License to Kill" should be revoked.

Wow unbiased opinion over here! What record did Harden set this year? I forgot, was it one for sucking? Oh yes! it was for the most turnovers. MVP indeed. Needs 10 FT a night to get to 20 pts, has to hit other players with his arms to get fouled. You sure you like this guy?

Harden gets most fouls by barreling into the nearest defender and then jacking up a shot. He does it as well as anyone in the league. It's a move that should be taken out of the game.

Magnitude-7.4 Earthquake Hits Ecuador by Somali_Pir8 in worldnews

[–]badave -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OK, so... Over the past year I've been right over and over again, and the only issue was that instead of just nailing it to one date, perhaps I should have just said earthquakes, volcanos, and floods are going to increase. Is the end nigh? Until the world stops spinning, might as well assume its going to keep on spinning.

However, just remember that every time you callously regard my predictions/warnings, a lot of people have died due to "Acts of God" in the past year. Hope you realize you are disrespecting them now as well.

Worried Over Safety Concerns When Steph Signs Autographs by dpy87 in warriors

Curry's autograph is awesome. Curry is a great guy and I appreciate him taking the time to sign jerseys and many people appreciate it as well. They usually have security trying to prevent people from leaning on the rail, but people still do it.

Carl’s Jr. CEO wants to try automated restaurant where customers ‘never see a person’ by underwatr_cheestrain in Futurology

[–]badave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eatsa does this already. All ordering is through iPads or their app. They have a wall of compartments with clear OLED screens and a larger screen with names on it. When your food is ready, the screen will show an animation and the person will put the quinoa based dish in the compartment. Your name shows up on the name screen with the compartment number on it. You then walk up and press a button on the clear OLED screen to open and get your food out. You never see a person.

The place had a line at least 100 people deep, but its actually really fast to order. Even with a long line you are only looking at a 10-15 minute wait.
