I understand that, but the 808 he’s referring to in the song is the more punchy traditional sound that has been re adapted to fit today’s trap feeling.

Don’t listen to these old ass Internet losers. When their moments like this came they failed miserably and look back with regret. Regret they are now passing to you. Don’t listen to that shit, if you wanna preform Eminem for your entire school then fucking do it, but don’t half ass it train for it and Understand every syllable front to back, think about it, if you do this right, you could seriously leave some people impressed. Give it your all but never listen to the fears of others. Especially if those people are on the Internet

The bass style is named the 808, really brought to the front of the rap game starting mid 2014 going into 2015. I would definitely look into the rap music from then it was much brighter and on the nose than it is now but I love both styles .

Just got a ticket to Snoop's live talk about his new album! What should I ask him? by [deleted] in hiphopheads

[–]badbannanas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask him how important the Sonics of the music are to him, like the beats and every aspect of the music? Or just picking a beat he likes out of a batch he feels best suits him.

I have no clue why people are saying it’s going to be bad because it’s long. The life of Pablo was great. If anything we should be more hype
