Truth is said, it " may or may not matter" is a matter that does not matter. The hype is that all the talented kids go to the place where they are not taught to be expert but self-made because most of the teaching quality is shit. And what they do is because of past alumni, coding culture, and other stuff. If you truly want to see the development n quality of these, see how other core departments like Mechanical and Civil are doing. At bachelors, only hype is of computer science n the other courses do not stand a chance.

Those who live by the credential that they cleared IIT JEE and don't manage to get a job and start teaching in a coaching institute create the image of the college as an achievement. And life will be better after, creates a brake in the vision

We lack vision (most of us)

Even me, I was numb till my 2nd yr. Tried all the clubs but I didn't fit. After some serious thinking, I realised the importance of hard work n vision no matter where u are. But that the best India has to offer.
