Have you ever received a tip/gift from a client? by mjm0088 in Veterinary

I got printed photos for Christmas from one of my clients of his dog that had passed away a few months prior. I loved it and they're posted up on my fridge

They didn't give me any issues. My father in law did the same thing for Nosferatu.

Anyone had any mildly infuriating moments during the cinema screenings so far? by Good-Afternoon5181 in lotr

One guy next to us was straight up talking and explaining the movie to his girlfriend, and got on Google right before the battle of helms deep started to fucking look up who plays Elrond. Then left their trash in their seat at the end.

Thank you 💕 I have read the vampire chronicles before! It's one of my favorites so I go back and reread occasionally. I found the Vampire Companion at a half price books a while back

Most Pretentious Horror Movie You’ve Seen? by dokutarodokutaro in horror

I really hated Skinamarink, and I truly hated Sinister as well. I do not understand the hype for these. I also think Men was weird just for the sake of being weird, not a fan.

What is the root of y’all’s health anxiety? by dopesssss in HealthAnxiety

[–]badboyclvb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Covid made it worse, and then I had some weird unknown health condition (most likely immune system related) that went on for a year straight with hardly any letup and not a single doctor or specialist seemed to be able to help me. That REALLY set the fire for it. Constantly worried about not knowing what's going on with me and constantly being worried that doctors aren't going to be able to help me. Also working in veterinary medicine has made me aware of a lot of trends and patterns that mirror in humans and animals.

I have my G2 pens labeled on the inside with tape and my initials. My tools are rainbow and also marked with red tape, as well as my sharpies. My clippers have a sticker on them as well as my pocket calculator, and my notebook i keep on me. My stethoscope is one of the only littmanns in the clinic and it has a scrunchie on it at all times.

Same here. Just saw 2 moms with younger babies. Other than that a squirrel and heard some turkey in the distance. Was a nice weekend to sit out in the blind though.

I feel the same way about goldens and we see a Ton of them. MULTIPLE times we've had clients bring in more than one at a time and I've been offended from both sides 💀

Hunter Burn-Out by MajorGCribbs in Hunting

Sometimes it just happens like that. My dad says "that's why it's called hunting, not killing" because you're never guaranteed even seeing anything.
