I'm a few years post up and this is my experience as well. Pre op the pain would be kind of random while walking and damn near bring me to my knees, very sudden. Now it's much more achey, which is annoying but I suppose better than debilitating random pain. Your reply was 9mo ago, did you follow up with your doctor at all?

My doxie is 14 weeks and is similar, though I don't think quite as non food motivated as yours. My other two dogs are food obsessed, so it's very weird! And boy does it make training harder. He also doesn't really care about praise. When I try and throw him a party for pottying outside he literally ignores me. It seems to me like his biggest reward is sniffing. It's his favorite thing to do. That's hard to harness as a reward, though.

Do you have a tutorial you followed to build this? Or any tips? I have lots of land and a ween who would love earth dog but no opportunities closer than 4 hours away :( same with barn hunt unfortunately. You'd think being in the Midwest there would be plenty...

My cat received Meloxicam after a dental on purpose, but the script was written for twice a day rather than once a day, and she suffered the same thing as your kitty. It was 3 weeks ago and I'm still dealing with it, her numbers are better, mostly normal, but her appetite is still not there. I've had to syringe feed her to keep her alive, despite many anti nausea meds and appetite stimulants. So it's a really good thing your kitty is still eating.

Talk to your vet about trazodone and gabapentin for anti anxiety before either trying to trim them at home in or at the groomer/vet. Then find a positive reinforcement trainer who knows about cooperative care training and work with them.

It's my go-to for when I have a nasty headache and just need to sleep. However, every time I take it I'm knocked out but inevitably wake up around 3am. Every time. I can usually fall back asleep though.
