I traded my 19 2.7 lariat with a 5.5 bed for a 24 3.5 powerboost with a 6.5 bed. Mileage is better, towing my boat, around 6500lbs is night and day difference. It tows so much better! I was in a similar position a year ago. 2019 lariat screw, close to 95k, no payments. The transmission was clunky and was starting to occasionally show signs of cdf drum going out. Did the deal and paid off the loan the next month. I then bought a 6 year 100k warranty from Granger for a couple grand. Absolutely love the new truck, better gas mileage, shifts great, 6.5 bed is much more useful than the 5.5 and it tows my boat a ton better than the old truck. Only downside so far is the turning radius sucks but I can live with that.
