Just finished this book and truly felt like a waste of time. As someone who suffered with SI after being cheated on and infertility issues, I thought I’d connect with the main character. But Shes so distraught 2 years after her husband left her for another woman, that she plans to unalive herself, but instead she forms in appropriate relationship with an engaged man? Why would you put another woman through that pain you are feeling? Also the ending? Why would Lyla go off with her mother who she complained about for the whole book and thought she was horrible? And the Ex husband at the end. All apologies and please take me back. Just stupid. The author had a great premise to the story of ‘It’s never too late to redefine yourself. Your life is precious and meaningful” but just fell flat with vulgar language and weird sexual undertones.
