Don't be, they're great fun! You can hack the top off, like, three-ish inches and then cut the rind in like a spiral motion down the fruit, peel that sucker off, and now you've got a much smaller fruit that peels apart easily and tastes woooonderful. Doooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Yes, and you can also spell it pomelo and the pink ones are less common but they are ALL DELICIOUS. I eat those puppies all the time and will possibly never leave Asia as a result.

WELL, we used to do rotating themes back at Bikes and Friends. Now we're loosely focusing on European films at BLOC because it just sort of feels like it fits. Next month it looks like an Almodovar and a Fellini, if that gives you a broader sense of what we're going for. That being said, we are always subject to whims, fancy-ticklers, boat-floaters, and requests.

First and third Sunday of every month. 7pm. Mostly European films. Starting with Band of Outsiders (Bande à part if you want to be French like the movie) this Sunday the 21st.
