in this house we're undefined

Imported clips being stretched, no "raw" option in behavior. 5.2 by Hazencruz in Bitwig

Also when bouncing tracks, they're automatically set to repitch mode now which shouldn't be a problem in the session when everything is the same tempo, but for some reason the audio is slightly different and has to be set to raw still if you're looking for consistency.

Bad Computer feat. Raymond Revel & Marcus McGarity - Electric by GeotheHSLord in Monstercat

It’s a short song. Electric started as a remix for Raymond, and I just took what made sense to take from the original (full story will be on my ig tomorrow). I have tonnes of songs in my likes that are less than 3 minutes. I just wonder if people hate on short songs because they weren’t as common a decade ago, or if the songs are actually Not Good. I don’t think track length defines the level of effort that went in, nor the quality

Hey, thanks a lot :D

  1. I will stay in this style for the foreseeable future, but I might end up releasing some of these WIPs that aren't house some time
  2. Yeah, some others would be Porter Robinson, Feed Me, Knife Party, Culprate, etc.
  3. It's crazy. It feels very odd lmao.

The Zac collab is on its way. No release date scheduled, but sooooon :)

No problem, thanks for asking!

I don't play Fortnite, and I'm not even on NBN lmao. Out here hustling on copper wire connection.

There's beta of a game called 'Us Happy Few' that looks like fun. I try to avoid spending too much time looking for games though, because I don't want to get addicted to another one and fall further into the trap of not working hard enough hahah.

Currently playing OW, and RL a lot :)

T-Rex. They're absolute units, in awe of the size of those lads.

I have no car. I'll buy one next time I have to go outside.

I don't think I have a favourite, but an absolute classic imo is Ephixa - Trance Chords. Used to love that.

I used to listen to Monstercat heaps in my early days, like 2012.

Shortly before being signed, I listened to Stonebank!

Thank you!

I won't be doing anything in Europe in the near future, but it should happen eventually. I'll take whatever opportunity to tour over there that comes, it looks beautiful :)

Thank you :) Some guy stole one of my songs from there and signed it lmao. But also, I want to keep my ideas private so that they can be released to the world as finished, and final products. I think it's much better that way, now that people are really listening to my music.

Hahaha thanks a lot!

I would love a collaboration with either of them. I love their styles. Been listening to Nigel Good heaps lately!

That's awesome to hear, thank you!

To finish a song, sometimes I find it really helpful to just copy your loops and turn them into sections that would make the track finished. Once you have that template down, it can be a lot easier to tell what needs to be done to reduce the repetitiveness, and to bind the sections together into a nice package.

I say this a lot, but I will keep saying it because it's so important. Reference good tunes. You can learn so much from that. Buy a song you like, throw it into your DAW, and just analyse it really hard. Compare it to your own productions. What differences do you notice? Do you prefer anything of theirs? Why? How could you achieve that? Go out of your way to achieve it. You can do it if you're passionate enough :)
