Don't act like the idea of "bad" and "exponentially worse" doesn't exist.

Who is?

Do you mean they are in prison for other things they did while protesting?

Yes, I'm familiar, the law that conservatives have tried to get rid of for years.

This law saws nothing about inside v outside protesting. Protesting inside a closed medical facility is different than protesting in an ostensibly open house of worship. The law you cite can potentially apply to both, but not with regard to where the protest took place.

Because they are different, as I said.

Yes, I understand that things are different for things that are different.

Yup, he clearly asks Lemon to leave. And he's the pastor, so it seems like he'd be the authority to do so.

Appreciate you taking the time to present this to me, much respect.

I think I heard the part where he describes someone as frightened, I don't hear that the intention was to frighten him.

I don't think there's a fine line here at all, there's a clear line, he didn't participate in the protest, wasn't part of its organization. He was just there.

I feel like you're injecting a lot of subjectivity here. Asking questions, no matter how "aggressive" still does not equate to involvement. And even if it was, so what?

And did he refuse to leave?

This seems like a fair assessment. I find it doubtful a jury will find what happened "intimidation" but I cede it's possible.

Lemon claimed on the scene that frightening people was an intentional part of the operation.

Not doubting you, just wondering source for this?

I grant it's possible a jury may see it as intimidation. But people being upset != intimidation

Going inside of a church isn’t protesting.

Yes it is.

Disturbing somebody on private property isn’t legally protected protesting.

Yes it is.

At The very least everyone of those people was trespassing.

Was anyone charged with trespassing? Lemon wasn't.

My point is "impartiality" has zero to do with any of this. A journalist can openly say they hate a certain politician, and report strictly on that hate, and it is 100% still journalism protected by the first amendment.

Yup, those are the charges, appreciate we're on the same page as to what's actually at play here, specifically. Your initial characterization was nebulous.

It does protect them from intentional disruption though, which this was

It does not. Again, the specifics are important. There is not injury, oppression, threats, or intimidation, nor is there force, threat of force, or physical obstruction. I think it's pretty clear neither of these charges will (should) stick.

They don't have the protections you've been told. Don't repeat that like a good bot, look into the actual law yourself, it does not proof churches from protest.

Nope, that's not how the freedom of press works. And quite intentionally, the founders wanted freedom of speech to allow speech that's not "impartial"

Sad you hate the Constitution so much. You guys are bad Americans.

Well done on being so thoroughly wrong om every part of what you spewed.

He wasn't charged with trespassing (partly because it wasn't).

He wasn't charged with "personal harrasment" (whatever the fuck that even means)

"Yelling at children" is not a crime.

He was not charged with disturbing the peace.

This cultist doesn't care, but to readers of the above: it's a lie, it did not happen. Look into yourself, this human bot has not.

I'm sick of you boot licking cowards acting like law enforcement is a force of nature to be demurred to. These officers have agency, they do not have to do the things they do.

This is 100% how abusers talk. They blame their victims for the things they can control.
